January 31, 200817 yr Author the ones that get cancelled the most are: a - Foreign language hits b - Dance hits c - Songs by European pop stars if radio bothered to give them support, I'm certain that a number of foreign language songs could be hits here... A lot of dance acts are perceived as one or two hit wonders in the UK but continue releasing stuff in Europe (e.g. ATB, Fragma, Sash!)
January 31, 200817 yr Mariah Carey - Bringin' On The Heartbreak 86q2uQgqqag Was going to be released in 2003, added to music channels and everything but then got pulled. It's a great Mimi song too. Was only released in a few countries, which is a damn shame.
January 31, 200817 yr the only one i can think of is Atomic Kitten You Are, but its already been said. I think that would have had a HUGE impact on the charts and maybe even bigger than whole again, Love that song shame it got cancelled as they did a bit of promo for it too...
January 31, 200817 yr That did get released. Would've reached number 13 but was DSQ's because of multiple buying.
January 31, 200817 yr How big do you think DJ Encore would have been here Mykka? I remember it having a sizeable buzz around it and I think it would have gone top 20 at least...I never understood why it was cancelled I totally LOVED DJ Encore's 'I See Right Through To You', amazing dance track. I have to say though... the release of it wasn't cancelled. I bought the single of it immediately upon release, it just flopped completely sadly. :(
January 31, 200817 yr This is rather dance but I loved it at that time. Mark Van Dale vs Enrico - Water Verve Uf6mEZUiYBo (There was a music video for this but I couldn't find it)
January 31, 200817 yr The Uk is so anti-foreign music, they cancelled Ana/Eros' 'I Belong To You' which was MASSIVE in Europe, but cancelled it in the Uk because half of the song was done in italian.
January 31, 200817 yr Right Said Fred had a couple of hits in Germany. They weren't released though in the UK at all.

OMG I LOVE YOU!! haha! lol That was my favourite Atomic Kitten song EVER! But i was disappointed it only got a video release! I think it would have been bigger than Whole Again! Thats the only one i can think of at the moment coz whenever i see a topic named this i always think 'Atomic Kitten - You Are'
February 1, 200817 yr Kelly Clarkson - Don't Waste Your Time Delta Goodrem - Together We Are One <<< Was the official song of the commonwealth games but wasn't released in the Uk, which use to own all of the commonwealth countries :S Shakira - La Tortura Jessica Simpson - Sweetest Sin / Little Bit / I Belong To Me Beyonce - Ring The Alarm Destiny's Child - Cater 2 You, Stand Up For Love Ashlee Simpson - L.O.V.E Helena Paparizou - My Number One
February 2, 200817 yr Was The Summer ever scheduled to come out here :o I really like that song, I got in on an import single... I was gutted that L'amour Toujours never came out...but then again AATW have a habit of cancelling things at the last minute How big do you think DJ Encore would have been here Mykka? I remember it having a sizeable buzz around it and I think it would have gone top 20 at least...I never understood why it was cancelled This song wasn't cancelled, I actually own the physical single. It made the UK top 40.
February 2, 200817 yr ^^DJ Encore didnt make the top40 but it didnt flop. It was disqualified. Apparently it was doing really well in the midweeks

February 2, 200817 yr Author The Uk is so anti-foreign music, they cancelled Ana/Eros' 'I Belong To You' which was MASSIVE in Europe, but cancelled it in the Uk because half of the song was done in italian. Its UK record companies that are 'anti-foreign music'...if they put time, money and promotion into a good foreign single (La Tortura for example), I think there could be some big foreign hits here
