Posted May 21, 200619 yr Well, it's a busy old week with a big shock in store! :o You'll see soon enough! SINGLES 3. Sandi Thom 5. Matt Willis 6. Busta Rhymes (One week behind, they've caught up) 9. Nerina Pallot :cheer: 10. The Feeling 12. Robbie Williams 15. Primal Scream 17. Ordinary Boys Vs Queen Chav 18. The Futureheads 19. Michael Jackson 20. Taking Back Sunday So... loads of singles this week. More than they've sold in ages! They're not selling Jack Johnson and The Darkness, which surprised me a bit - especially with some random things they're selling. So what's the shock? Robbie missing the top 10? Nah - that's to be expected! For the first time since the re-releases started, Wacko Jacko isn't top 10! :o After something like 15 releases, they've actually cottoned on he's never getting in the top 10 with these. All I can say is poor heal the world! :( Apart from that, they've completely messed up chart positions. Sandi Thom will be number one (unfortunately) while The Feeling and possible Nerina will be higher up the top 10. Can't see Matt Willis anywhere near that high either. ALBUMS 2. Zero 7 6. Pet Shop Boys 10. Angels & Airwaves 15. Boy Kill Boy Hmm. Not too sure here. I don't think zero 7 will get that high. I think pet shop boys could be a couple of places higher, while boy kill boy should easily be top 10, and A&A may even be higher!
May 21, 200619 yr It all looks about right to me, except Primal Scream is too low in the singles. Sandi will be top 2 aswell. Edited May 21, 200619 yr by Aly
May 21, 200619 yr Well you can disagree with the position, but well done on wollies stocking some more singles. That's got to be healthy for the singles market.
May 21, 200619 yr Author Well you can disagree with the position, but well done on wollies stocking some more singles. That's got to be healthy for the singles market. Yeah! I think they'd be better having a chart and a new section for singles rather than including new releases in the chart. That way, customers get a clearer view of what's new out and what the chart looks like - considering woolies f it up so much! :D
May 21, 200619 yr Can't see Matt Willis that high, he charted in the lower region of the chart on downloads only, the rest looks about right to me
May 21, 200619 yr Can't see Matt Willis that high, he charted in the lower region of the chart on downloads only, the rest looks about right to me The feeling to be higher Primal scream Ordinary Boys much higher also Matt Wills much lower I have no idea about Nerina Pallot

May 21, 200619 yr Can't see Matt Willis that high, he charted in the lower region of the chart on downloads only, the rest looks about right to me I think Matt Willis will do very well on physicals, and make #4 in the actual chart.

Nerina Pallot - Everybody's Gone To War 10. Robbie Williams - Sin, Sin, Sin I love a lot of new songs from this week!

May 22, 200619 yr They're not selling Jack Johnson and The Darkness, which surprised me a bit - especially with some random things they're selling. whats more surprising is that anybody would be bothered to mention the darkness these days   :lyear: :lyear:
May 22, 200619 yr And don't forget Keane will be available as a download this week, it could chart inside the top 5, or even No.1

May 22, 200619 yr Author whats more surprising is that anybody would be bothered to mention the darkness these days   :lyear: :lyear: Well, despite the relative flop of the album, both singles from it have gone top 10, so I'd have thought woolies would be selling the new one!
