Yo , Quickie PiCCIE

Yo , this has gotta be ultra quick cause , im in Tokyo on a tight tight shcedule and I've got 15 minutes till I have to go and do some work . I finished the UK tour very happy , cause the 2nd night at the Astoria went really well , better than expected actually . I got on a bus after the show and we set off for Paris , we have 2 busses on my tour and the band are in one and the crew in the other , I sleep on the crew bus though because it's more fun and more comfortable , anyway just a few miles outside of Maidstone I was standing in the back lounge havin a laugh with the boys Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

when I noticed smoke coming out the bac

k of the bus . I was quite drunk and at first I was outraged , you see I thought it was exhaust fumes causing horrific amounts of pollution and probably some kind of carbon monoxide poisoning . I was wrong , the bus was on fire , and we were on the motorway , the fire engine was called . it arrived .Photobucket - Video and Image HostingThey put out the fire and we had to wait for the band bus to come and pick me up , while I left the boys behind on the hard shoulder , wqaiting fro a replacement bus . While we waited I got out my safety kit and started fixing the bus Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

only joking , I just quite liked the picture .

Any way the next day we got to Paris , we did a gig and then left for Amsterdam , I can't show you those pictures ( im sure you can figure out why ). We did a gig there too , at the Paradiso which was pretty cool , a truly beautiful venue . I cant think why I didn't take any photos , maybe I was feeling tired. After the show we drove 14 hours to Lausanne in Switzerland and did a gig there , it was quit $h!t . It was the first show I've done where I was supporting someone though , so it was nice to finish early .

Everyone else got on the busses back to London , but I went to the Crowne Plaza airport hotel in geneva , cause I had an early flight to Tokyo from heathrow , so I got up the next day flew to Heathrow , cried at the airport a few times cause I was so close to home , but so far at the same time . Then some security c**t made me cry again , cause I was queuing up with Adrian ( my manager) , Em ( my assistant) and a couple of people from the record company , and he let them all pass with out a check, initially I followed them , and then he went " not you , you can queue like everybody else " , I was like ," but Im with them can't I just stick with my party " and he went " You dont get no special treatment here love, I don't care who you are " then laughed in my face . I must have looked ridiculous cause I burst into tears , I just wanted to go home , but here I was getting on yet another plane for another week somewhe strange . Anyway I can think of worse places to go . JAPAN rocks it's pretty weird at first but you get used to it , I got here yesterday and walked out the hotel , my video was playing on the street.

Wrong end of the Glowstick . NME rant

Current mood: aggravated

I probably shouldn't be writing this , but I have to get it off my chest . I am not a big fan of the NME , as they sold me down the river when I last talked to them , I did and interview and made a sarcastic joke using the word "gak" which is slang for cocaine . They glorified my joke and used it out of context , then their public relations dept , contacted the tabloids in a shameful attempt to sell more copies . And , I have ever since been known as " Lily Allen , Pint sized potty mouth popstar who once admitted she would celebrate her no 1 single by taking cocaine ! " .

Thanks NME . Now , I have read many articles in the NME , where male band members freely admit to, or associate themselves with the taking of drugs , and I havent seen many of them ending up in the tabloids . Take Klaxons for example, and the ongoing MDMA references. " MDMAZING " I believe was the title of a recent article ( how responsible! ) .

The only reason I can think of , for recieving such a different form of treatment , is because I am a woman . I did recieve a written apology from Conor Mcnicholas ( the editor) . But i vowed never to work with the NME agian . As I thought, if there was one publication I could trust and be frank with , it would be the theirs .

Anyway , I was aproached by them again , with regards to the "Cool List Issue 2006" , five women had made it into the top 10 and , subsequently we (the women) were asked to pose for photos to be the main feature for the cover . As I said before , I vowed not to work with them again , but as the context was so important ie; a a strong female presence in music . I thought i might aswell put aside my differences and do it . Now i don't care for " the cool list " , and I said this to them in the interview , which is probably why they didn't print it . I don't really think the NME are in any position to tell us who is cool and who isn't , personally I don't think a bunch of people sitting in an office drinking tea , inventing musical genres , and watching Nathan Barley DVD's are leading any kind of cool brigade , do you ?

But i did find it interesting that they wanted to put five women on the cover , and wanted to name 2006 , our year .

I went to get a copy yesterday , and this is what we ( the women ) got . Another f***in MUSE cover . I like Muse , infact , Black Holes and Revelations , is one of my favourite albums of this year . But the NME have covered them so much this year already .

Now usually you might expect a call , just out of courtousy telling us we had been pulled off the cover , but we recieved nothing .

This is Conors ( the editors) comments on this issue , He has obviusly put out some press release , stating how supportive the NME is to women in music

Conor McNicholas, the editor of NME, said he was pleased that the Cool List was full of women who had brought "new energy" to the music world.

"This year's Cool List is a testament to the raft of hugely talented women who have taken hold of the music scene in 2006," he said. "From Beth to Lily to Karen, they've brought new energy to a scene dominated by men. They're also living proof that you can still rock a crowd when you're wearing stilettos."

I mean how f***ing patronising " you can still rock a crowd wearing stilletos "

Is that all we are , stilleto wearing people , is that all he could say ,that we brought a " new energy" to the music scene . Don't make me sick , wev'e always been here you arrogant prick , this was your chance to actually show you meant it . And instead you put Muse on the cover . Cause you thought that your readers might not buy a magazine with an overweight lesbian and a not particularly attractive looking me , on the front . w*n**rs .

You should take your heads out of you New Rave arses , and actually think about your responsibilities to youth culture , and to women in general .

Oh and by the way , theres not enough RAVE in New Rave .

Happy Christmas

Current mood: accomplished

Hello all , I know I havn't written anything of note recently , but thats because nothing interesting has happened . I went to America for a week and did some gigs , one in L.A one in San Francisco and one in Seattle ! Seattle was pleasant and I managed to do most of my christmas shopping in the Macy's department store there .

We came back to london for 3 days to rehearse for " Jools Holland Hootenanny" , which will be on , on New Years Eve .

For now though , I am in Jamaica , eating Jerk chicken for lunch and trying to catch up on some sun and some sleep .

I want to thank everyone for contributing to make this the most amazing year of my life , I've had such a laugh and have achieved so much more than I could ever have anticipated .

I go to Japan again on the 10th and then off to New Zealand and OZ fer Big Day Out , I can't wait then I'm off to LA for a bit before returning to England for my short tour and then some festivals . Hopefully after that I can get to writing the next album . Happy Happy Chrismas and an even better New Year

See you in 07' yo

much love all the way from Yard

MAGGIE MAY IS BACK

Current mood: ecstatic

Hey everyone ,

I have the best news ever . Maggie May is back at home safe and sound . She is riddled with fleas a bit sad and very thin , but thats not the point . I can't tell you how overjoyed I am to have her back , how grateful I am to everyone who has sent kind words and helped to find her . I now know there is definitely some sense of community and goodwill left in this country, contrary to what some people might say . Anyway , it's late and I have only just got her back , so I will leave you saying thank you . I will elaborate on how we got her back in the near future . But Happy New Year , and heres a pic of a reunited me and mags .

Maggie May's return

Maggie May is back as you know , and I said I'd let you know some more details . I didnt want to go into to much detail but the rumours and allegations have started so here goes .

Last night we recieved a call from a man in the Leytonstone area . He said he had Maggie and had bought her as a present for his sister , he didnt really want to give her back but was persuaded by the reward . Some friends went to meet him a couple of hours later to see if it was Maggie . Luckily it was , so they left to get the money in order to get her back . They came back and were asked to follow the man and his two friends in a car for a few minutes away from the main road , they did this , handed over the money and got Maggie back . Once Maggie had been handed over the young men and woman offered to sell more puppies to my friends , which made us realise that these people were obviously in the business of moving dogs .

Now I feel guilty for having given these people money and contributing to their cruel business but I love that dog and felt I had no choice .

People have been speculating that because maggie was thin and had fleas she must have run away , MAGGGIE was tied up and in her cage in the back of a van and could not have escaped , she was stolen . The fact that she was very thin , makes me think she was mistreated ( ie not fed ) and the fact she was infested with fleas implies she was kept with other ( maybe stolen ) animals .

Im not going into anymore detail as this is now a matter for the RSPCA and the police . Thank you again to everyone who has helped me retrieve maggie . This has been an awful experience and people who are accusing me of neglecting my dog in some way , are distressing and hurtful , I hope this clears up the issue .

Rock and Roll

Current mood: blah

Hello ,

Happy belated new year to everybody , as you know Maggie May is back although I am thinking of changing her name since I've heard that is going to be the name of Kerry Katonas new child . I am in Tokyo having played two shows here already and we are about to get on a bullet train to Nagoya , which is all very exciting . Before I left , I did a video shoot for the next single , which is Alfie , and that was quite alot of fun , Alfie was played by a puppet and the whole thing looks like an episode of a mixture Tom and Jerry and Roger Rabbit , you'll understand when you see it . The whole day was a pleasurable experience , except the Kerry Katona (ie unhealthy iceland stuff) catering left alot to be desired. The day after that I did a photo shoot for something I'm not allowed to talk about with an amazing photographer , who I'm also not allowed to talk about, but all will become clear in due course , we shot at Spring Studios in Kentis Town and the catering was lovely , just incase you were worried .

On Wednesday I left for Tokyo we dont know when we're coming back as we go to New Zealand , Australia and America after , so Emily ( my assistant ) and I stocked up on music and gossip magazines to keep us entertained over the next few weeks . As usual I feature in the circle of shame section of heat magazine this week , althogh this time not for walking to the shops without a couture dress , spray tan and piles of make up . Yes a lovely paparazzi got down on the floor and took a picture directly up my nose . The caption reads something along the lines of " glow in the dark bogeys " , now of coure like everybody else in the world , the inside of my nose consists of some moist matter that might shine when a huge f*** off camera flash is pointed at it , the same exact way that my lip gloss and forehead do in the same picture , I wouldn't like to speculate what the magazine in question were trying to insinuate but they were wrong .

The flight was highly enjoyable and empty so Emily and I were able to lie down and sleep all the way . I had a gig the night I got here which wasn't great due to my awful rendition of " litllest things" and jet lag, but the crowed seemed to enjoy it . I had a day off the next day so I went shopping , I bought a North Face camouflage jacket , which will come in handy at Glastonbury and other festivals and a hooded sweatshirt which is colourful and printed all over . According to the fashion blogosphere these type of hoodies are a huge no no in 2007 , infact there is quite alot of anger directed at them , I have more impotant things to be angry about , and besides I like the hoodie , so i bought it . Then i went back to the hotel and watched 5 episodes of the fourth series of the West Wing and went to soundcheck for a gig at the liquid rooms , the gig was much better than the night before and we did our versin of the Specials' Blank Expression , which went down really well .

I woke up at 3 in the morning due to jet lag and went through some emails , checked my forum on my website to see that my fans are angry I have been neglecting them , I havent posted on there in ages ( I'm going to, once I've finished this blog !) .And then I went to sleep again .

We had another day off yesterday , I did more shopping , ran into one of The Basement Jaxx in Tokyo hands ( japanese woolworths ) I bought a keyring shaped like an edemame ( soy bean) and a small remote control helicopter , which I now have to carry all around the world ,cause it wont fit in my suitcase ( this place makes you do weird things ) . Then I went for lunch with the boys and went back to the room to finish off The West Wing . I have given up booze for 2007 so I didn't go to the Dubliners Pub with evreyone for dinner and the Man Utd game , they said they had a laugh but I bet I had more fun watching Steve Jobs' (CEO of Apple Inc, formerly known as Apple Computers Inc ) Keynote presentation on the Iphone , it lasts over an hour , I want one , sooooooooo badly . God I'm Rock and Roll . Oh and just incase you were interested The Killers are staying in the same hotel as us .

EDIT , Can everyone please stop calling Kate Nash the new Lily Allen , Kate is a very talented songwriter and her music sounds nothing like mine , she exists i her own right and it must be really annoying for her to be compared to me the whole time ! thank you .

BIG DAY OFF 1

Current mood: ecstatic

Yo people , Im writitng to you from our hotel in Gold Coast Australia . Were on tour here with the Big Day Out festival . Let me tell you , IT IS f***ING AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!!!

It's so nice to be in the sun , and in the company of some really good people .

We left Japan and flew to New Zealand , where the first of the Big Day Outs was . My record company hired a boat for us when we got there and shipped us off to a BBQ at a private house on the beach . The boys went for a swim , while they weren't chatting up gorgeous 17 year old Home and Away types . This annoyed emily and I immensely so we hid their clothes in the trees while they were in the water , it was highly ammusing .heres some pics

Shux ( our guitarist ) forgave me eventually , were friends now

Emily , got really pissed and we left with Del and John ,

they came back to our room , Emily and I had an argument and then i went to bed . you can read Dels blog for details , its vaguely interresting . www.myspace.com/delfish .

The next day we played the boiler room of the BDO and it was amazing , we pulled a massive crowd and had so so so much fun . It's so much fun playing festivals again , its a completely different thing , and such a buzz . Then we went back to the hotel , everyone got hammered and I went to bed , I havn't had a drink since New Year , and yes it is boring . As Frank Sinatra once said " I feel sorry for people who don't drink , when they wake up in the morning it's the best they'll feel all day " SPOT f***ING ON .

Onwards to Brisbane and the Gold Coast , after the flight I went out for dinner with some of the lads and then went to bed . I woke up to this this morning

my life is awful !

I did a few interviews and then we played one of the best sets ever , I had half a beer with the audience to thank them , then Pip ( my tour manager ) took it off me as we came off

It was trully amazing , thanks to everyone who came . It was one of the best Yet

In the afternoon I did a bit of promo and lazed about in the sun.

Then I did a photoshoot with Lupe Fiasco and Mike skinner , I am a big fan of both so it was nice to be included . Heres a sneak preview

Oh yeah , I know everyones doing online campaigns to try and win the Brit AWard but I think thats a bit whack ( and not what this space is for ) `So ill just say I'm really pleased to be nominated . That is All .

speak soon Lily

A week in words

So , I havn't written to you guys since the middle of our Australia trip , It turns out the night before I wrote my last blog I managed to get into a fight with the band Jet , I wound Chris the drummer up the wrong way and he flicked a cigarette at me , I then threw a bottle at him which luckily missed and all hell broke loose , I have no recollection of the whole event . Anyway this is precisely why I shouldn't drink ! We went from the Gold Coast to Sydney , the Sydney show was amazing , such a big turn out .

We got pretty drunk , went to see Kasabian play ( which in their own words was fookin Empire )

we hung out with some of the other bands , Hot Chip are darlings and Lupe Fiasco was pretty cool , although quite pre occupied with playing pacman .

Then we trashed our dressing room .

Muse and Kasabian are our favourites . Anyway the next night we ( Emily Del , John and I) went out to see John Cooper Clarke , who is a fantastic poet , read . He was incredible and I'm trying to convince him to come and support me on my UK tour .

The next day we were off to Melbourne , we did a great show , I got incredibly drunk made a complete fool of myself backstage before Emily put me to bed for a couple of hours in my dressing room . When I woke up we went to see Kasabian again . This is me dancing , and should give you some idea of how fun Austrailia was .

We did our own gig at the Metro in Melbourne before getting on a 16 hour flight , which by the way was struck by lightning , I could smell burning . Luckily we were only ½ an hour from LA but I hate flying , and cried all the way to Baggage Claim . I love Customs in America, they are just so friendly , really make you feel welcome you know ? They really enjoy their 10 min's of power , I'm not very good with people like that , tends to get me worked up a little , especially just after a 16 hour lightning struck flight, anyway they put me on some list, 'cause now every time I get on a flight I have to have some full on humiliating security search , which is fun . Am I rambling? Sorry ! Anyway got out of the airport , had a cigarette then got on another 6 hour flight to NY.

Australia was f***ing boiling and NY was -2 or something , my body went in to shock and I spent the next couple of days sick , and in bed vomiting . We were in New York for the recording of Saturday Night Live , which is a huge deal over here and things started to feel a little Hollywood .

This last year has gone so quickly for me it was only last May that I was playing in London at the Notting Hill Arts club to 250 people and suddenly I'm in a dressing room right next to Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz about to sing on TV to 50 million people or something stupid . Talk about mind f***. Needless to say I was $h!tting myself but I think it went ok . The next day my album went up to number 2 on itunes here in the States. I got stopped a few times in the street which has never happened to me here before, I guess that's what Saturday Night Live does . My Mum and my boyfriend came over to see me do SNL and I spent ½ an hour crying on the floor of the soho grand hotel lobby saying goodbye to them before getting on another plane to LA . It felt going back to school after the holidays , if that makes sense . I don't know when I'm going to see them again .

Landed in LA at 12.30 am and rushed to IN'N OUT burger, they only have it in California and it's the only fast food I'll eat, they don't have freezers only fridges and you can see them cut the potatoes for the chips (fries) besides it's yummy , anyway I don't need to justify my fast food consumption here , do I ? Read "fast food nation " it has a whole chapter about them being the most ethical burger joint. Checked in to the Hyatt on Sunset and then went to bed. The next day I did interviews from 10 in the morning till show time at the Henry Fonda Theatre , the show was ACE , really really good . Then I went to the studio for a couple of hours, did some work and met Kanye West, he's a legend, and a really nice guy .

WHHHHOOAH long day , got to bed by about 3 and then got up early to catch a flight to San Francisco . Checked in and did some phone interviews in my room for a couple of hours. Had a row with some journalist cause he kept trying to make comparisons between myself and Paris Hilton , Saying that we both got where we are because of our families' money and connections , and the " obvious " musical similarities . I told him he was misinformed and where to go . Then I went to soundcheck and did a gig at a lovely venue called the Great American Music Hall .

It went really well , but I was tired so I went straight from the stage to the car to the hotel and dove into bed . Got up this morning at 8 did a phoner to radio 1 in the uk and then went to the airport . Im writing to you from the plane , I'm on the way to Chicago . I MISS England so much and my Maggie May and my mum and my dad and Alfie and sarah my sister , and all the fans back there , I miss you all . I'm coming back for 18 hours next week for the Brit awards so I'll see you then !

LOVE LILY x x x x x x

Oh yeah and the Album went in at number 20 here this week , which is amazing for an overseas debut artist , so I'm over the moon !!! Thanks to everyone who went out and bought it . I hope you enjoy it .

Current mood: melancholy

busy busy busy , as usual . This week I have been from Chicago to NY to Philly, I did shows in all cities , then I did a TV show called Conan O'brien in Manhattan . I flew from NY to london on Tuesday night and arrived in London for the Brits on wednesday morning . I went to the brits and lost all three I was nominated for , I knew that was going to be the case , all my categories were very tough . Then I went out for a few drinks , assulted some paparazzi with my stiletto and went to bed . On thursday i woke up @ 8 in the am and left my hotel in tears , i didnt want to leave . I wanted to go home , I wanted my Mum to cook me a roast , i wanted to walk my dog , I wanted more than 5 hours with my boyfriend . I got in my car and and was followed to the airport by the razzi , actually they followed me all the way to the gate , Heathrow has it's own press dept I saw the guy that was featured on the BBC program " Airport " their PR guy . He and a couple of photographers followed me to the gate and I got on a plane to Washington . Washington was freezing . I go to my hotel and then I got an email from my record company , all the post brits pics of me crying ( outside my hotel ) , supposedly I got in a fight with Amy Winehouse and was left crying . UTTER BOLLOCKS . Anyway this annoyed me momentarily but I needed to sleep, as this morning I had to get up at 6 to get on a plane to Boston , so I moved on .

Got to boston at about 2 this afternoon and went to watch Pans Labyrinth with Emily , Del and John . It is an amazing film and i advise you all to go see it . Now I am in bed watching a documentary on Anna Nicole Smith , may her soul rest in peace . I reckon Howard K Stern did it . I hope he gets found out . He looks creepy . Night everyone , I am tired , I want to go home I have to go to Toronto tomorrow but . Only two more sleeps , and one more gig . till im back in London , albeit brief . I miss everyone . night night .

Dear Lady Sovereign

In response to Miss sovereigns comments , I've spoken to my Dad and he says he'd be happy to adopt you if you think it will give you a leg up .

The 21-year-old rapper - who is enjoying chart success in the US - thinks it is unfair she is attacked in Britain for her sense of style, while Lily is lauded for her quirky dress sense.

Lady Sovereign told the Observer Music Monthly magazine: 'I'm not appreciated. You get some of the media hating people like me 'cause they're chavish but Lily is the biggest chav going and everyone seems to love her.' The 'Public Warning' singer insists she doesn't hate Lily, but thinks she has had it easy, because she is the daughter of successful comic actor Keith Allen.

She added: 'I'm not hating on her but someone like Lily Allen, just 'cause her dad's famous, doesn't have to work as hard as someone like me.' The Wembley-born MC also claims her next album is going to be so controversial, her record label Def Jam will 's**t themselves'.

The rapper - who can count Nas and LL Cool J as her label mates - said: 'If they think my current album is irregular the next one's going to be pretty f**ked up. I've got so many things to say. They're going to s**t themselves.'

hey , lathargic blog .

Yo , so its been a while , I havn't really had much to say , I still don't . I've started to feel it's my duty to write blogs , I didn't feel that before . Life is weird at the moment . Is it really important to break America ? If it is I have to write my life off for the next 9 months , playing the same gig answering the same questions to different journalists and such , or go home sit o my boyfriends sofa for a bit , then write a new album . what d'ya reckon ? As much as I love driving across America and doing the same thing every night , I'm bored slightly , this is no reflection on my audience , cause I have a huge amount of respect for them . It's the songs , I'm bored . Since January I've toured Japan , New Zealand annd Australia , I've done a European tour , gone to Paris fashion week , done a UK tour , spent one night at home , apparently I beat up some paparazzi , and now I'm on a US tour . It goes till May . I dunno what to do.

Backwards Americans

Backwards Americans

The blogosphere is going crAzy right now , apparantly I said that all Americans are backwards in some interview . While some americans probably ARE ( every country has a backwards contingent ) , That would be a sweeping generalisation and also not true . I think there are some very clever americans . I don't actually remember saying these things , but they were said in Texas which is where the SXSW festival was , therefore I must have been very drunk and showing off . Soz

MEXICRACK

Current mood: accomplished

Whagwan peoples ,

I'm sitting on our tourbus in a car park in San Diego CA , and I am actually watching some men smoke crack , Emily and I have been here for a few hours and this is not the first group of people smoking crack we have seen . Actually I've been documenting this for a couple of hours now .

this is the crackheads chilling

here come some customers

job done

It's like an episode of the wire or some $h!t ! . NICE .

The sun is shining and I bought myself two new pairs of Jordans , so in my books today has been a good day . Also the venue we're playing at tonight is the first one in America to have figured out that cIDER is an apple based alcoholic tipple , not cloudy juice , so tonight should be a goood night .

We've been all over the place since I last updated you Houston , Atlanta , New Orleans , we played a really great gig in Fort Lauderdale in Florida , my friend Scott from the Scisssor Sisters ( excuse me while I pick that name up ) came to see me with his friend Aimee and that cheered me up massively cause I've been a bit homesick of late . Then we got on a plane to MEXICO . First night I took all the band and crew out for dinner , it was disgusting but the frozen margheritas were good , untill the next day when we all realised the ice in them must have been bad . Our arses were all over the place . The Mexicans were really nice to us and the show was great 2000 people or something , we got pretty trashed after the gig and then had to get up sooooper early to film this thing for MTV latin america , called TURISMO . They hired a car for us and we droVe around Mexico City and did some TURISMO .

this is the crew filming us in the car

this is Aaron la Crate sporting the traditional Mexican wrestling mask in the freshest of ways

we went to Frida Khalos' yard and it was quite fascinating , she had an amzingly difficult time of it , RESPECT to miss Khalo . We werent alowed to take pics inside so we took some outside , which dont give you any idea of how cool it was

we drove around some more and i put a wrestler on my head

The loverly people at MTV then took us for lunch and tried to make us eat some really nasty $h!t

this is grasshoppers

and this is ants eggs ........... eeeugggghrhh

Me Emily and Aaron went out for dinner at some next hotel and then did some slow dancing , because this band was playing and we felt sorry for them , noone was listening to them , so we danced to their big up choons , it was highly amusing

then I ran into my twin sister , it was a bit emotional , I havent seen her in years .

The next day we flew to Seattle and did a gig before we left we sat in the departure lounge in all our wresling masks , because we felt like it , and thats how we do

Then we drove to Vancouver and did another gig , then we drove to Portland and did another gig . Yesterday we had a day off so on the way here we stopped off in Monterey and saw the sights

this is Monterey

we saw some sea lions

then I threw a diva strop because my credit card got eaten by the cash machine , luckily the ladies in the bank were really helpful , and made the machine give it back . YAY . Here is the culprate

we left at midnight to drive to San Diego , and on the way out I spotted Gareth my drummer , completely twatted , smashing up his hotel room , he had to pay for the damages made

And that brings me here . To sunny san diego wher the crackheads are surrounding our bus , its a bit like the wicker man , I'm scared .

Homeward stretch !

Current mood: blank

Yo ,

Im in Montreal , we drove here from Toronto last night . Twas was my first sober gig since January , I can actually remember it , which is cool . I cried under my duvet on the bus this morning , I spoke to a friend who was playing table tennis and eating pie with his friends on this sunny good friday . It's so weird how things like that can make me cry , I must be hormonal or something . How'd you make a hormone ? Don't pay her !

It snows here , I'm cold .

We go from here to America again tonight and then a few east coast shows , then an LA show then home , well everyone else goes home , I'm staying in LA for a holiday .

Every interview I do at the moment Im getting asked how I feel about Amy Winehouse , It's starting to really p*** me off . I really like Amy and am totally supportive of her .

Why do people always try and play women off against eachother the whole time ? Yes Amy and I are both english and yes , were both in our early twenties . Why don't they try and crrate a feud between me and James Morrison or Amy and Paulo Nutini ? Or why not create a rivalry between the boys . I think there is something seriously wrong with this part of our culture

On the same subject ,I read an article about Mutya Buena's gig at the borderline the other day.

It read " The likes of LILY ALLEN, NATASHA BEDINGFIELD and AMY WINEHOUSE should watch out – Mutya is definitely here to stay. "

Why write this , I certainly didn't go into music to compete against other artists , and I very much doubt anyone else does . What I do is , what I do. And what Amy does is what amy does . The two have got f*** all to do with eachother . It's so boring and complete rubbish .

Cancelled Tour

Current mood: artistic

Hey Guys ,

I'm writing to tell you that I have cancelled many of my May and June tour commitments in America . The reason for this , is because my mummy and daddy are very rich , and I have never been in a position where i have actually had to do any hard work before . I thought that being a popstar meant going out getting trashed with famous people and sleeping in all day . The fact that this is not true has come as a huge dissapiontment to me , and as a result I am throwing the towel in .

No but seriously , I have been on tour with this album for a year now , I have fulfilled every commitment up to this point . I am tired , but more than that I don't think I have been giving my best performances recently . I have been getting really drunk because i've been so nervous about doing bad shows , and I don't want people spending money on a going to see a show that isnt the best it could be . I am not falling apart at the seems , I am not suffering with exhaustion , I am not pregnant , and I am not going to rehab . I will be here in America , promoting the album and also starting to write the second album , which I am beyond excited about . The LA and New York shows will still be happening , and I am still playing Coachella and Bonaroo and all the other festivals .

I'd like to apologise to anyone who has bought tickets , but you can get your money back , if you take 'em back to the place you bought them from

fat , ugly and $h!tter than winehouse

that is all i am , im on my own in america again . I used to pride myself on being strong minded and not being some stupid girl obsessed with the way I look . I felt like it didnt matter if I was a bit chubby cause , im not a model , I'm a singer . Im afraid I am not strong and have fallen victim to the evil machine . I write to you in a sea of tears from my hotel bed in Seattle , I have spent the past hour researching gastric bypass surgery , and laser lipo suction .

Yo , Back in the US

Current mood: confused

So i'm back in America , I landed in Seattle this afternoon . It seems that the American Immigration peoples , know things about me that I don't . Twice now I have been questioned over things that are a little dubious . A few weeks ago I was pulled over at the border driving from Canada in the US and , the lady said " Mam , it has been brought to my attention that you have been caught in possesion. " " Possesion of what ?" I replied. " I can't discuss that , mam " she said . Now she declined to comment as to where she obtained this false and foggy information . To my knowledge , I have never been arrested or charged in conjunction with any illegal substance , so I dont understand where this information was obtained . I thought it interesting , but didn't do anything about it . Then , today I was at passport control , where I was handed a massive red card and was sent to an interrogation room for questioning before they would let me in the country , the officer was very friendly this time , but what he said was equally as strange . A few weeks ago I allegedly hit a photographer . According to the newspapers , I have been sent a letter by the police asking me to report to the Police station to face questions in relation to this incident . I have not recieved any letter and I have not had any contact with the police , so it seemed odd to me that the United States Citizenship and Immigration services , should have access to such information before even I have been notified of these charges or enquiries . The Immigration officer said , " I know why youve been pulled aside." "really , why ?" I replied . "Were you charged for assulting the photographer ? Have you been to court ? " " I haven't , even been arrested , not even questioned ! I have never even spoken to a policeman in regards to this incident." HHHmmmmm , I doubt that an United States Government agency would use unreliable sources such as Wikipedia or google news , quoting tabloid goosip and lies as factual evidence , would they ?

Anyway , I look forward to the next couple of weeks here , we're playing a few gigs , and then I'm getting started on the new album . Can't wait for the festival season to get underway, and Glastonbury is gonna be amazing this year !

I hope everyones well , sorry I havent been writing much recently , I just havent had much to say . love yall x xx x x xlily

Sorry

Current mood: Better

Hi guys , I'm sorry if I worried anyone with the blog I wrote yesterday . I was feeling pretty sorry for myself , I've been reading all your comments and they have made me realise there is more to life than being thin ! So thank you . I think I was just having a hard time last week . After reading cheryl tweedys comments branding me a "chick with a dick". I was feeling pretty low and aswell as that, some of you might know I launched my clothing line for new look last tuesday , and seeing my picture in so many newspapers next to kate moss' , made me feel grotesque momentarily . I know its a silly way to feel and I am incredibly proud of myself and my achievements over the past year, there are so many good things about my life . I really am incredibly lucky . I guess it shows how much of an effect the media can have on us young ladies . As for the amy winehouse bit , someone sent me a link to a picture blog where there were some paparazzi shots of my brother and I , and there were hundreds of comments from mean sad people , saying I was a fat ugly b**ch and how much better amy is than I . Usually I ignore these things , but in my heightened emotional state I let them get the better of me . My mum has come out here to keep me company and I feel much better now , I sha'nt be getting any surgery , instead I will be eating lots of bread and pasta and thinking about what to write about for the next album . I really am touched and was quite surprised at the reaction the blog received and it definitely has restored my faith in humanity .

I know I've said bad things about people in the past , though the majority of them have been blown wayyyy out of proportion , but this i mean

Cheryl if you're reading this , I may not be as pretty as you but at least I write and SING my own songs without the aid of autotune . I must say taking your clothes off , doing sexy dancing and marrying a rich footballer must be very gratifying , your mother must be so proud , stupid b**ch .
