February 6, 200817 yr If you take a 6 hours time shot will it not be regionally influenced. When the US sleeps I'd imagine the chart would be somewhat different from 6 hours when the US is awake. Just a guess. If it was 24 hours it might be smoother.

Just a guess. If it was 24 hours it might be smoother. I think you misunderstand the 6 hour thing. The chart compiles views from the past 3 days, not 6 hours, that's just how much the chart updates. So the regional influence would be very small. Even when the US is sleeping, you have 2 days worth of US views I think.

The myspace groups is fine but I doubt few will use it. Is it possible you make some sort of history of past charts. I think that might be of interest to people, it certainly would for me.

A forum part is unlikely to create traffic no matter how good is it and how much time you put to it. So like you've done is ideal. 2) I'm not really sure about how to show history. Maybe an option to go back to a previous week or two, or somehow show the trend. It's often as important to know the trend as to show it's actual value, well if you interested in charts that is. :P 3) I think the links are great, but I wonder if it takes much time to hunt them out and if so makes it harder to maintain your site. Maybe in the future you won't just do music charts, perhaps sports video charts or comedy video charts, and if you add to much that isn't automated then you might tie up your own time. By the way, most likely the best way to get your site more traffic is somehow to get it on user pages at myspace/bebo/facebook.
