Posted February 10, 200817 yr Apparently, Mutya's been dropped from Island Records. Now Magazine printed an article regarding it yesterday, and Mutya's manager (Mark) told me there will be 'news' next week...
February 10, 200817 yr Oh dear. Me thinks she should have stayed with the Suga's, she would have gotton a little, little bit more success. Although she probs made more money from this (kind of) flop project than she did from a Sugababes album!
February 10, 200817 yr Mutya was always the most talented sugababe, its a shame her album didnt sell well.
February 10, 200817 yr they didnt give much of a chance did they,i though they would let the 2nd album go ahead with the ultimatun of it had to do well or thats ir
February 10, 200817 yr Well why would they give her another album? This one lots them sh!tloads I'd imagine!
February 11, 200817 yr TskTsk, I don't know what could happen, maybe she'll go into writing a new album and finding another label. Maybe we'll never hear of her again :o
February 11, 200817 yr NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! totally gutted for her. tho tbh she might be better off without them, then maybe she'll get some promo dates. oh, and another silver lining the sugas were dropped from london, and now look at them ^_^ Edited February 11, 200817 yr by f1mad
February 12, 200817 yr It only really sold on the back of 1 single; the other ones weren't too successful.
February 13, 200817 yr Well it was pretty inevitable. :( Talent always wins in the end though and that's something Mutya certainly has a lot of. ^_^
February 14, 200817 yr too true!!!! obviously being a total fan-girl i blaim Island. i don't think they are gonna bother making it public untill the brits have been. i hope she wins, what a f*** you that'd be
February 15, 200817 yr Pissed off about it -_- but at the same time saw it coming. She'll get signed up don't worry, shes very talented, it just wasn't used well with the album imo ;)
