I think a few weeks ago peeps were thinking Kylie's "Wow" had a good chance of climbing to Number 1.

Surely with, what will be, 9 weeks of Download sales, the chances of this is less likely.

Won't the fans of already bought it and with Physicals likely to be fairly low these days I would now guess a low Top 10 would be a good result!

Any views...I'm maybe completely wrong!

I agree with you plus alot of fans are divided on whether they like the song or not.
I think that Kylie'd never do very well with WOW but the experience of Nickelback proves us exactly the opposite way. Sometimes popularity of tracks seems obvious but this is not one of these...

You also have to remember that it's the 2nd single. Almost everyone, including myself expected "2 Hearts" to make No.1 and we had to settle for No.4 :(

I didnt think 2 hearts would make no1. Its just not as good as her other lead singles from parlophone. Im surprised how well the album is holding up though.

Yeah i was sad about it too! This proves the fact that even such a fab star like Kylie don't get the full fame deserved as it unexpectedly happens with someone like Basshunter!!

Think 'wow' will move up the top 20 this week, then definately top 10 upon it's week of physical release. I know i will be buying both cd formats. Hope top 5 at least. 8 weeks in the chart before it's actual release is rather good i think.

Yeah I agree slowdown73 but it was at the time we had the "Kylie" comback and "The Spice Girls" comeback and "Who would get to No.1??

I respected Kylie because with "2 Hearts" she tried something a bit different for "Her" whereas The Spicies stuck to the good old safe formula!!! Kylie could have churned out another "Spinnning Around" if she'd wanted to play it safe. I respected her for going with "2 Hearts"

She has really f***ed the song up by speeding it up on the video - it sounds awful and cheap.
A song that is not able to reach the top20 on downloads alone is surely not able to get #1 when physically released.

Sugababes - About You Now wasnt top 20 hit.

My Chemical Romance

Beyonce - deja Vu

etc etc...

In principle tracks may not be top 20 on downloads to get to No 1! Sugababes got to No 1 very suddenly and didn't hang around top 30 for weeks!

Also It just has to be some other people that haven't downloaded it in order to buy single released and to support song's position in the chart!!

That situation will definitely be with Janet's Feedback i predict!! :(
Isn't she performing this at the Brits the week it's released though? That'll provide a massive boost to sales either way...
Apart from the distortion on the word 'Wow'... it's a really dreadful record... if she goes Top 10 then she should be happy

Not significant enough to b top 3 in the end! Just there'd be another 5-10 thousand of copies sold...!

Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't rate the new single. If fact for me it's much worse than 2 Hearts. She's getting a bit long in the tooth for the child like voice imo.

these days its what you sell not which position you get to. Surely Kylie has a massive build up of sales with Wow. Look at Christina's Candyman last year. It only reached 17 but sold over 100k overall. McFly debuted at number 1 in April last year but the track barely scraped 50k. Chart positions aren't too important overall these days.
i agree!!! altho would love kylie to get a straight run of 21st century top ten singles, but if not, it's not the end of the world!!

It is top 20 now
