So that's Bristol Rovers, Cardiff, Chelsea, West Brom and Barnsley in the Quarter Finals. :o Haha. And I don't reckon Middlesbrough will win tomorrow either, so we could have a mere three Premier League sides in the last eight. :o

Is good to see more teams from the Premier League progressing to the latter stages on the FA Cup. I think Middlesbrough might actually win the FA Cup now...

Liverpool's loss to Barnsley must surely spell the end of Rafa Benitez at Liverpool FC now. Just about everyone's calling his head today and while although Liverpool missed an apparent large amount of sitters, Rafa still picked the side. I hope a lot of the players go with him too. There'll be a lot in the media about Benitez and his future at Liverpool, but nothing should be dis-credited from Barnsley. Well done to them for winning.

So the last 8 looks like this

Barnsley

Bristol Rovers

Cardiff

Chelsea

Man Utd/ Arsenal

M'Boro/Sheffield Utd

Preston/Pompy

West brom

so the most premier league sides we will have in the last 8 is 4 the least is 2. If we get four, which i think we will as sheffield are in free fall at the moment i think it will end up that all 4 premier league clubs will be kept apart and end up getting through to the semi finals. As the fa couldnt have a last 4 with anyone below the premie league in, it would look right :P. I am hoping for a non premier league final though. So am hoping the winner of man united/arsenal meet chelsea in the next round.

I have to agree This is one embarassment too many so Rafa has to go. Things have gone downhill fast since his "bad cop" right hand man Paco left the club.

Still Liverpool have a nice "easy" tie in Europe against Inter Milan who are only 11 points ahead of the second placed Roma in Serie A having won 18 and drew 5 of their 23 League fixtures so far.

Liverpool need Martin O'Neill as manager now otherwise we'll be lucky to be playing in the UEFA Cup next season!!!

Man United 2-0 up with 35mins gone. Could Arsenal only be left in 2 races (CL & PL), Man United 3 (FAC, CL, PL) and Chelsea FOUR (PL (just), CL, FAC, LC)
Unless a minor miracle happens Benitez will be out of a job within 11 days. Liverpool are an average team full of players who are average at best. They're leagues behind the top 3 and tbh I think they're lucky to be in contention for 4th place. I honestly think that Everton have a much better squad and Aston Villa have a much better 1stXI. Bar Gerrard and Torres they're no better than Man City, Pompey, Blackburn, West Ham etc... I wouldn't have Kewell for Forest yet Benitez seems to persist with him rather than the much superior Ryan Babel!
Get off the field Eboue, if you don't think you deserve a red card for that appalling/shocking tackle then you deserve banning for the rest of the season.

Sammy Lee's available

Well done United, it will be a Man Utd/Chelsea final again i should imagine.

Bring on AC Milan ^_^

:cheer:

Great result for us against Arsenal today, we absolutley s*at all over them. Bad result for Liverpool, but as a United fan im not all that dissapointed  ByeBye Rafa! :funky:

Does anyone else think that since Carraher retired from international football he's become awful? I alway thought he possibly should've played more games ahad of Rio but since then he's become a shadow of Rio. And the likes of Lescott, Upson and Richards have all been better this season.

Nope I don't. He's made some high profile errors I agree, but then again he's made them before and he'll probably carry on making them. Carragher is a fantastic player and he always gives his heart and soul to the Liverpool performance but he's only human at the end of the day, and he's not getting any younger. This season though, Agger's been injured and Hyypia is past his best now (as good a player as he is) and neither of them have any pace at all and as much as I think Carragher is a great player, the person who you play with the centre of defence can make you a better player than you actually are.

It really is stupid how the experts on BBC w**k over united, they're a very average side who just get lucky.

And what is it with them and their fixtation with Portuguese players!!?, the national side has played very average lately, and struggled against the stronger sides in Euro 2008 qualifying.

The papers will be coming out with all this "raise the bar" and "benchmark" bull $h!te, when Arsenal played like a bunch of schoolboys.

And has anyone actually seen AIG being advertised anywhere else apart from a Man Utd shirt?.

 Yesterday united played wiith pride and passion and thoroughly deserved to walk all over a 'schoolboy' like Arsnal as you put it. The likes of Anderson, Nani, Evra, Carrick, Rooney etc. all played completley out of their socks as we tore them apart. Yesterday was an example of United's fantastic football in it's prime. I'd call Liverpool more of an Average side tbh, but of course the likes of Gerrard and Torres at their best puts them above that. Hang on, i just remembered you! You're that inmature one who was like haha f*ck you united twa*s back when it was 2-2 at the Emirates! I expected you to be like 13, but after seeing your picture

OH FOR f***S SAKE!!!, you act like a little 13 year old!!!!. You most prolly support Man Utd!!, their manager is a little d!*kh**d too, why on earth was he CHEWING all the way through the minutes silence for those people who lost their lives in Munich?!. But cos he's "Sir" Alex, he'll get away with it    .

AIG SHOULD stand for Anorgant Iditoic Gits, and describres that team brilliantly.

Supporting Manchester United MAKES me inmature?

Just cause your players and fans couldnt be arsed yesterday you dont need to take it out on the innocent of us. and WTF are u on about Munich? How dare you suggest Fergie doesnt CARE

LOLLL Marcus. I hate Man Utd but even I will admit they played excellently yesterday. Sour grapes perhaps...?

Liverpool struggle against Havant & Waterloovile, get spanked by Barnsely in stoppage time :kink:

and now have to beat Inter Milan who lead Serie A having not lost a league game this season

Adios Benitez!
