My Scouse friend Jenny can't understand why they were rubbish against H&W and brilliant against Inter Milan.

They weren't even that bad against H&W. They were bad yes, but not as bad as everyone has made them out to be. Non-league teams aren't pushovers and there's been a fair share of Premier League sides that have struggeld against them over the last few years!

Celtic did well, no disgrace at all :D :).

Fair play to the AC Milan fans giving a standing ovation to the Arsenal team, it's something you'll never see at Old Trafford with Man Utd fans.

That's such a stupid statement to make. Premier League footballers get payed far more, yes I agree, but can't say they don't but the effort in! I agree sometimes players don't always give 100%, but that happens in every team.

It isn't stupid at all, most Premier Leauge players are pria madonnas who hardly play with passion the way they used to.

How did Liverpool get on against them in the second leg?:).

Excuse me? We're actually one of the best teams for doing that! It doesn't come often after all :P

Just ignore him and his vendetta against Man Utd. No matter whether they win, lose or draw, perform brilliantly or awful, their fans are thoroughly well behaved or morons, he will always find some way of criticising (and usually insulting) them.

Here we go again you arrogant cockney

Looks very likely that an English team will win. Chelsea, Arseal, Man Utd and posibbly Liverpool through to the last 8. There's got to be an all-English game...

Mind you, I think Roma could be the dark horses this year!

I'm not sure if I want Fernebache and Shalke to draw each other or not On the one hand it would be nice to have an uexpected team in the semis but then I'd quite like to see if they can cut it against the best. I predict Liverpool will draw one if they go through.

I'd like to see Fernerbache and Shalke draw each other. An all English tie, and then one English side against Barca and the other against Roma (providing Liverpool go through). Doesn't really matter who gets who though. If you want to win the Champions League you're gonna have to play the best teams at some stage.

that's the kiss of death now

no doubt fluky Barca will win now

I would like Arsenal to draw anyone but and English team. Preferably Schalke or Fenerbahce.

As Matt said, the second leg's next week (cos of both Milanese teams playing at the San Siro).

Not that she'll go, you understand.

I'm getting stressed watching this (on Sky).

It's like the first leg in reverse.

Inter are well on top, but have yet to score.
