April 23, 200817 yr Awful penalty from Ronaldo, seems like the ref just bottled given man u a second penalty.
April 23, 200817 yr At least i'm not alone! :) Maybe its just cos i'm bitter bcos my team are in crappy league 1! Hey don't worry about it, I am a Derby Fan, and they have played c**p all season.
April 23, 200817 yr A fellow Forest fan! :D :D :D :D :D and wouldn't change it for the world lol. What dya reckon is gunna happen to us this season then eh? Hey don't worry about it, I am a Derby Fan, and they have played c**p all season. Booooo direby lol. Do you think you'll be going straight back up?
April 23, 200817 yr I'd say slight advantage to Barca, only as they can get an away goal. First goal (if there is any ) will be absolutely key at Old Trafford

Not if they play like they have been playing this season. I think they have been playing with their eyes shut this season. Fingers crossed next season they will come out fighting and thrash them all. :yahoo:
April 23, 200817 yr No chance of that. Your manager has said you've got no money as you've spent all your parachute payment and your players are awful. Four games against Championship opposition this season (all of which in relegation battle) with three of them at home, three draws and one defeat. Completely overachieved last season and promotion came far, far too soon. Charlton and Sheffield United came down much better equipped and have found that league very hard. It's a very competitive division, I wouldn't be surprised if Derby were to finish anywhere between about 5th and 22nd!

I dunno, I don't rate manager that much but think if we went up we'd do well with him in charge, defensively minded and you only have to look at Bristol City; play-offs virtually guarenteed with a goal difference of -1. Not that confident we'll go up though, don't fancy us in the playoffs though our squad is much better than last years, but think we're possibly too far behind to go up automatically. Plus it'd mean we have to win 4 in a row, we haven't won more than 2 in a row all season!
April 23, 200817 yr Man U gave that away.....should of scored on that penalty, Ai cant wait for the second leg
April 24, 200817 yr Grrr! I hate it when people call us Man U :( That's usually a glory hunter's name for us you know :P Anyway I'm actually quite happy with 0-0 considering we probably should have lost in the end ^_^

Plus it'd mean we have to win 4 in a row, we haven't won more than 2 in a row all season! We always bottle it under pressure so i don't see much hope of going up in the playoffs. Do still like to think we could POSSIBLY get automatic though! (yep i kno it's a long shot) But can't see Carlisle losing to milwall or bouremouth, and Doncaster losing to Luton or cheltenham! It'd take a miracle lol. If Yeovil were the ones to stop us 2 years in a row :banghead: Soz about the 'Man U' :P
April 24, 200817 yr I loved Rafa's post match comments. 'How come there was one minute of injury time in the first half but four in the second?'   :lol::lol::lol: No chance of that. If you play the way you did against PNE in the Cup (at a time when we were stuggling), I can see you doing what happened to Wednesday when they got relegated. But can't see Carlisle losing to milwall or bouremouth, I don't think Swansea saw Bournemouth beating them. And they did just that. On the day that Swansea would have been promoted, as well. April 24, 200817 yr That's why i've still got hope for Forest, because it is very hard to predict scores at this time of the season. The bottom teams will obv be putting up a fight to survive whereas teams such as Swansea have slowed down a bit because their promotion is guaranteed. I found this out last week when Swansea lost me my accumulator bet! Forest have got mid table teams left to play unlike Carlisle and Donny, so in some ways it could be an advantage because these teams effectively have nothing to play for , but on paper Carlisle and Doncaster are expected to win their remaining matches but i will be supporting Milwall and Luton this sat!!!
April 25, 200817 yr Our main advantage is that we play two teams in lower mid-table who now have nothing to play for. Although positive results for Bournemouth, Millwall and Cheltenham seem unlikely, they'll be scrapping for their lives and Bournemouth are the form team in the division. We do have to win both of our games, though... :|
April 28, 200817 yr Rooney and Vidic are both doubtful for tomorrow as neither trained today :( Both are key men so things are not looking good for us right now... :(
April 28, 200817 yr Gotta say, if Vidic isn't fit for Man Utd then I think they're in trouble against Barca. Will leave the Man Utd defence a lot more wide open...could be a very good attacking game from the neutral perspective! :P
April 28, 200817 yr If Vidic doesn't make the cut then I have serious reservations about how far we can progress in the Champions League. Fuck Rio, Vidic is our natural leader at the back. He may not speak the language perfectly but his presence at the back alone is enough to order us effectively. He's the organiser in the back half that we've not had since Schmeichel. Rooney will also be a blow too, although I reckon he'll be fit according to a few rumours I've heard. He'll be raring to go aswell after being isolated on the right wing against Chelsea. Ronaldo similarly after being played out of position.
