You can say what you want about it being over-rated, over-played etc, and tbh i'd probablies agree. But the fact of the matter is that this is without question my favourite Razorlight song and im glad it spent as long at number one as it did

In what was a very good year for indie music, this came unbelievably close to being named 'Record Of The Year 2007' even as early as March. Alas, it wasn't to be, but it did come second, and it's managed a very respectable 3rd in this top 100 countdown. The video for this is also my favourite video from last year. Immense

I adore this. Even over a year and a half later, i'm still listening to it everyday and liking it as much as I did way back in October 2006. The lyrics, the delivery of the song, just everything about it gets me singing (and whistling) along. Should have been their highest charting UK hit, but nevermind. It managed a healthy 5-week spell at number one in my chart and was the record of the year for 2006

If it wasn't blatantly obvious that this was going to be no.1 back on song 100, then im afraid you're in the wrong place. This is my favourite Arctics song (and believe me, that's an achievement), everything about it (including the video) is absolute genius and it fully deserves this honour. In case you needed any more convincing, this went into the top 3 before it even had a confirmed release date, and it went to no.1 3 months before its release. Equals the record for longest time spent at no.1 (6 weeks), and tbh could potentially have spent 11 there. Basically, this walked the 'Record Of The Year' title last year , and it's pushed aside 99 other contenders to be named my favourite song ever to be included in TOTB
