March 2, 200817 yr Out of the tracks chosen for the final 4, suppose his was the most mainstream. After last years effort, I am not surprised that a more bland song was chosen.
March 2, 200817 yr They should have just invited Cyndi back and asked her to sing all 6 songs and let the public decide which was the best. Unfortunately we got a Singing Sedative singing a song that nobody will remember the moment the next act appears on stage. Can't see Andy giving a good visual performance either. 0 points for sure
March 2, 200817 yr Nil Points again. It was just like a 70's throwback. Michelle Gayle's was nothing to write home about either. She was just trying to resurrect her short career. Even Ireland's turkey will beat us. My choice was between The Revelations and Simona Armstrong. Trouble is the public vote for who they like and not think if the rest of Europe will like it. March 2, 200817 yr They should have just invited Cyndi back and asked her to sing all 6 songs and let the public decide which was the best. That's what they used to do back when UK was the tops. They had one artist singing 6 different songs and the public voted for their favourite songs. Also they had top acts then. Never will-bees or has-beens. There are plenty of top UK acts that would do well. Leona - Take That - Girls Aloud etc. Edited March 2, 200817 yr by Euro Music
March 2, 200817 yr AWFUL - he won by appearing on one of the biggest UK TV shows ever two years ago. The Revelations had a much better song and should have won.
March 2, 200817 yr I think Andy only got it because of his X Factor stuff and the UK know that he will be able to perform on the night! The Revelations SHOULDA WON!!!!!!

March 2, 200817 yr Well all im saying is in this weeks Personal Chart both Michelle Gayle, and the Revelations songs are both enetering! Andys was probably the 2nd worst of them all! (Behind The guy that went head to head with that russian girl from maria or whatever! lol I dont think Loveshys song was that good but they definately deserved the wildcard - then we would have probably had at least some points WHOEVER went through to represent us! Its rubbish! I wish i was in last night to vote The Revelations! :(
March 2, 200817 yr Blehhh. I like this now. :( It'll totally flop though. In answer to your signature (What went wrong?) Everything! The Revelations were cheated out of the final two! But I dunno why but I have a feeling that because we're ripping this off saying its gonna be a flop, its gonna do pretty well! haha IF ONLY! lol
March 2, 200817 yr I think they wont let us allow Girls Aloud, Leona or Take That coz they have had success in Europe, but saying that TATU still entered... Anybody can enter! :P
March 2, 200817 yr It's a funky little song Tyron. A bit bland, but if we're drawn in the final few songs, we mght even stretch to 20 points. :kink: And at least it's better than Scooch. And less embarassing than Daz.
March 2, 200817 yr Michelle Gayle was better than andy but both are waek songs, andy is the worst uk entry in years and if the uk wrent in the big 4 they would not qualilfy this year, the song is bland and forgettable, and for me usually uk have great entries get sonia back for eurovision Edited March 2, 200817 yr by Shameless

March 3, 200817 yr We stretched it to nearly 20 points last year :manson: LOL! - with 12 points from Malta as a PROTEST vote against the voting system. Scooch was the BIGGEST embarrasment to the United Kingdom EVER! :manson:
