His new single “She’s Like A Star” featuring a sample from another British songbird Corrine Bailey Rae, brings a fresh new sound that most R&B fans should appreciate. With an upbeat appeal and an original sound, I think Taio Cruz has crafted a hit that has the potential to make an impact on American soil. As a fan of R&B, I will admit I’m always looking to hear something new with substance.

It looks like Come On Girl was a one off

This could be shaping up to be his first single in the US, theres a remix featuring LL Cool J

That's such inaccurate info from that source!

It doesn't sample Corinne. Apparently she tried to sue him because she thought there were similarities there when infact there are not. Or so Taio said in a recent interview...

It's not his first single in the USA either. He tried putting "Moving On" out in the USA but it flopped something awful even after being sent for adds.

I am now officially a fan of Taio Cruz as i like everything he has released this song is enough for me to pre order his album! I like a lot! :D
No word of a lie this song is the only one I don't like on his album. The. Only. One. It is poor. Creepy child voice does nothing to aid a poor tune. Only one on the album he wrote with someone else as well, the same "T. Kellett" who contributed the atrocious 'High Times' to Nate James' second album. Eurgh, it is a genuine shame this is a single, I would have picked ANY other track.
Love this song everyone buy his album its amazing!!!!!

Got it through the post today and ive been at work all day so havent managed to listen to it... Gonna listen tomorrow! I cant wait! :yahoo:

Shall we start a Taio Cruz - B&I??? :P Sorry i just want to do one! lol But i will have to wait until tomorrow because its too late to listen to it now :heehee: I really like this song though! If you lot arent that keen on it compared to the rest of his album i am intrigued to hear his album! :D
Hurrah! It doesn't look like this is going to be the next single. If it was surely it would be on the sticker - http://www.popjustice.com/images/stories/t...cruzsticker.jpg - which it ain't. Instead listed is the rather brilliant 'I Can Be' which is an excellent choice. :yahoo:

On that sticker it says The Brit Award winning star... WHICH ONE DID HE WIN???

He co-wrote Will Young's Your Game (reached No.3 in March 2004, taken from Will's second album 'Friday's Child') with Blair MacKichan and Will Young.

It was voted 'Best British Single' by the public at the 2005 Brit Awards.

Taio has a cover of the song up on iTunes right now, which has been extensively re-produced by him and obviously features Taio's vocals.

AMAZING! So glad hes decided to go ahead with releasing this :w00t:

I really didn't like this as first, but i've grown to like it now. He's done much better still though imo.

Nice video too, but that's mainly because of Roxanne McKee. Fitt.
