Soul star JOSS STONE is eyeing an early retirement from the music industry because she wants to become a nurse. Stone - real name Joscelyn Stoker - rose to fame aged just 15 after the release of her debut record The Soul Sessions, which was followed by 2005's Mind, Body + Soul.

But, despite the commercial success of her musical career, the 20-year-old insists she would like to try her hand at other professions before she grows too old for a career change.

She says, "I certainly don't want to get to 60 and find I've only been a singer all my life. I'd like to go back to school one day. I'd like to train to be a midwife. "I want to experience all aspects of life and visit every country in the world."

She said this when Mind, Body & Soul was released aswell. I think (if she ever) that it'll take a while. Everywhere she'll ever work, everyone will see her as the singer she is. She'll never get rid of that image.

AND, she said in an interview, that she would never ever ever stop making music, as its what makes her happy. :D
