When I said I wanted Suzy to bugger off, I just meant to go and flirt with someone else, not leave the show! EE's approach to casting recently has been strange. First Claire and now Suzy, pretty much axed almost as soon as they hit the screen. What happened to giving the characters and actors a little time to settle in?

I agree. I'll said it before on other forums and talking to people and I'll say it again - they are turning Eastenders very slowly into The Brannings.

Me and my sister were joking that the makers of the show joke to the likes of Shirley, Heather and Big Mo that "it'll be your turn soon", as it seems a lot of characters are pushed into the background or out of the picture completely.

Another theory that comes into mind is The Brannings are "marketable". Tanya a rather good looking woman, Jack a good looking bloke - well whatever you want to decide there. Max - the "villian" wanting revenge, Dot the eccentric and lovelable old woman and Stacey - sexy young woman. On top of that Lauren and Abi faces fit as a pair of brats caught in the crossfire.

It seems the makers are using these to their advantage over the other soaps as this story and those said characters are their draw to get people to watch it. The thing is, people aren't interested.

I really thought after the buried alive story, that would be it and we'd move on from seeing it. Oh no, we have to have Max's revenge, Tanya unwilling not to go without c**k for a while and dating his brother and lord knows what else.

It's been nearly two years this storyline has been going on, and it's about time it came to a head. Whats the betting they drag this on until Christmas?

I think the new girl is Ronnie's daughter

No, Ronnie's daughter is dead.

But, that new guy that kept on looking at Stacey, I don't like him. I hope it doesn't turn into another story like when Little Mo got raped. ^_^
