After months of rumours and speculation, Roxy's pregnancy brings things to a head this fortnight and viewers discover the shocking truth about what happened in Ronnie's past - and why she doesn't want anything to do with her dad, Archie.

As if that wasn't enough, more secrets tumble out of the closet when the Mitchells head to Dorset for a holiday, and meet up with Archie. The exact details of the family reunion are being kept secret by Eastenders producers, but a spy told us Peggy, Ronnie, Roxy and Sean all head to the coast for a bit of fun in the sun - the the break doesn't go as planned...

"Viewers are in for a summer of shocks when Archie returns to the girls' lives," "His arrival looks set to unearth secrets that will split the family!"

Theres also the matter of Roxy's dalliance with Jack, and the fact she's not sure if he or Sean Slater is the father. Eastenders are keeping shtum about who the dad is, and if Ronnie will learn about Roxy's sordid fling with her fella Jack... With all this going on, it looks like it will be Walfords most explosive summer yet!

Honey Dies?

Honey Mitchell will leave the sqaure in dramatic fashion this summer - but Eastenders bosses are keeping tight lipped about the details. With Honey happily married to Billy and mum to two babies, its going to have to be something serious to make Walford's only nice Mitchell leave! Could Hon's world come crashing down when Billy cheats on her? Or will Billy end up a single dad of bosses kill her off? NOOOOO :(

May Day!

Mad May returns this summer to take revenge on her love rival, Dawn! With her and Jase happily settled, life couldn't be better for Dawn, and baby summer, but events take a sinister turn when Jase gets a new job working for Dr Wright! Of course, Jase doesn't have a clue about his boss's barmy past...

"May has changed, But will hearing about Dawn and Summer through Jase push her back to old ways?"

Still In Love!

Ricky and Bianca are an item again! Oh, okay, that's not entirely true, but we wish! And so does Ricky, it seems. He's already got a bit misty-eyed as he remembered the good old days, but Bianca told him she only has eyes for her jailbird fella, Tony. However, when their lad, Liam, gets into trouble at school, the pair pull together to sort it out. Will they get closer in other ways, too?

Edited by Simon.

Looks like the Mitchells and bloody Sean will be featuring heavily for the next few months then :heehee: Kill him already!

Marc Bannerman has claimed that he would return to EastEnders "in a heartbeat" if he were given the opportunity.

The actor, who played Gianni di Marco in the soap between 1998 and 2000, said that he enjoyed having the chance to build a character over an extended period of time.

He told DS: "I love EastEnders and I loved my time there.

"It was a regular job, and also on a soap you get to develop a character over a period of time, and I quite enjoyed that. You get to add your own little traits and after three years you can play with it a bit more.

"I love the stability of a soap, you know?"

When asked if he would ever return to the show, the I'm A Celebrity... star said: "I would go back in a heartbeat, but I can't see it happening, personally."

i hope marc doesnt go back i hated his charactor

i enjoyed tonight but i cant wait for stephen to get exposed.awwh gus is gone,i enjoyed gus over the last week and his exit was ok but i cant see winning any best exits awards

Gus' exit really proved how undervalued he was as a character by the producers; easily the best acting he's ever done!

YA i agree it has acted very well and was interesting to watch the last 2 weeks, now i just wonder what the millers exit will be
Can imagine quite a few, its improved a lot over the past year.

No point Gianni going back as his family have all moved on...it'd be completely pointless in terms of potential storylines

shame the only people who waved off Gus were people from the market and Mickey...surely some of the more prolific characters could have spared a minute to say goodbye to a shockingly long seving character!

nice to see Winston with a line yesterday too! doesn't happen often does it!?!

EastEnders favourite Charlie Brooks has signed up to make a permanent return to the soap.

The 26-year-old recently reprised her Walford role as vixen Janine Butcher for 'Frank Week', a bank of four tribute episodes dedicated to late comic legend Mike Reid.

The storyline saw Janine and the majority of her screen family – brother Ricky (Sid Owen) and sister Diane (Sophie Lawrence) – return for their father Frank's funeral.

EastEnders bosses so were impressed by her performance and the audience reaction that they began discussing a longer-term contract almost immediately.

Of her return, she said: "I'm thrilled to be returning to EastEnders. I loved coming back earlier in this year for Frank's funeral. It gave me a taste for playing Janine again. And I'm excited to see what Janine will be getting up to now she is returning to Albert Square."

Executive producer Diederick Santer added: "I couldn't be more pleased that Charlie Brooks is rejoining EastEnders. With her appearances last month, she reminded us what a fine actress she is, and what an intriguing, watchable and engaging character she plays as Janine.

"Rejoining us for a longer stint will give us a chance to understand what makes Janine tick, to see what lies beneath the surface of this unique character, and to find out from where she got that flash, big, black car…"

Brooks returns to filming in the summer and will re-appear on screen at the end of October or beginning of November.

Earlier this month, producers also announced the return of Amanda Drew as 'Mad' May Wright.
