American pop act Maroon 5 have cancelled a show in Auckland because of scheduling conflicts.

 

The band, famous for the hits This Love and Sunday Morning, were due to play Auckland's Vector Arena on April 6.

 

A press release issued this afternoon by promoters The Frontier Touring Company said the show clashed with a charity performance.

 

"The band sincerely regrets this unavoidable cancellation and wants to assure their fans that a rescheduled visit to New Zealand will be a priority at the earliest opportunity.

 

"The band apologises to fans for any disappointment caused."
