October 11, 200816 yr Ashton to help with KoS clean up The Dictator held talks with the Shadowan King and donated the funds to reimburse the country for the clean-up and for the costs associated with the move from the hall to an open air venue. Ashtonise authorities (note the spelling :P) have reassured the Shadowan king that the mass interest in the concert shocked them more than it did the KoS. The initial 3,500 tickets were snapped up almost instantly. The Dictator invited the King to Ashton for talks on the Credit Crunch and offered support to KoS during this time. Gabriella was said to be relieved that Dame Margaret liked her version of WYRMT, the dictator also apologised for the set backs which delayed the concerts from the initial date until last night. October 11, 200816 yr Author Compensation Accepted by Kingdom The King of Shadow tonight has thanked the Ashtonise Dictator for his generous offer to reimburse the Capital City, Kentish Town, for the damage caused during Gabriella Cilmi's concerts earlier in the evening. 'This is a very kind offer to help clear up this mess, it takes a strong country to stand up to their responsibilities and I think it really says something about the improved relationship between Ashton and the Great Kingdom since 'Mutya-gate'.' With regards to the Ashtonise invitation to visit the dictatorship for urgent meetings regarding the credit crunch however the King seemed slightly more guarded; 'Unfortunately I'm quite busy over the next few weeks, y'know trying to get my hair like that muscley one off of the 'Shadow Factor'.
October 11, 200816 yr Ashton appreciates correct spelling Ashton's dictator reiterated the Shadowan Kings statement about 'Mutya-gate' despite muttering from the cabinet about 'revenge'. Reports rubbished by the dictator. Ashtonise authorities left the Cruch talks invitation open for whenever the King finally gets his hair sorted. The environmentalist prisoners recently arrived in the Kingdom to start the clean-up from the Former Democratic Republic of Ashton. The dictator invites the King to take as many environmentalists as he wishes. (Source: Ashton Sun Online)
October 14, 200816 yr Pixie arrives in the great Kingdom Of Shadow on latest tour date FSR Rontvia's BJSCXI entrant Pixie has put on yet another sensational show in Kingdom Of Shadow today to continue her extensive promotional tour to support her song Boys And Girls. She arrived in Kingdom Of Shadow earlier this afternoon for a lunchtime performance inside KOS' biggest sports arena to a sold out show attended by an estimated 40,000 people. After it had finished, one crowd member said 'Pixie was incredible live, her voice could be heard from all corners of the stadium, she may look small but she has an almighty voice and is one to watch for the future!' The 17 year old Brit was overwhelmed by the response in KOS 'I watched BJSCX live and it was such an incredible show, it really proved that Kingdom Of Shadow are a force to be reckoned with. I've been having a look around the country today and it's beautiful, the views here are incredible. The crowd today were quite possibly my best yet, I've never played to so many people before and it was incredible when they sang the words of Boys & Girls back ro me.' Pixie performed current single and BJSCXI entry Boys And Girls as well as her own sensational acoustice version of Margaret Berger's Will You Remember Me Tomorrow? as part of her 'covers a past BJSC entry' series. Here is her promotional video for Boys And Girls. nDQJ_C5wv6Y
October 14, 200816 yr Author King Declares Rontvian Concert a Success Today, the King of Shadow declared the latest BuzzJack Song Contest promotional concert a success. The event hosted by FSR Rontvia's entry 'Pixie' attracted some 13,000 Shadowans along with 27,000 immigrants to fill the Coulthard Motorsport Stadium. Unlike previous concerts however, officials were bale to work closely with event organisers to ensure all visiting BuzzJack peoples enjoyed the concert without trouble. The King stated; 'We had another quite enjoyable afternoon today thanks to 'Pixie'. It was truely marvellous to see peoples from Bhangra, Utopia, Jester's Kingdom and of course Rontvia getting along peacefully and having a thoroughly good time!' Once again a visiting nation performed a cover of Margaret Berger's 'Will You Remember Me Tomorrow', this time an acoustic version was played to which a slightly cautious crowd eventually gave their approval. Rontvians will be hoping this concert has helped drum up some support ahead of BJSC XI, especially when you consider none of their entry's have managed to score more than three points from the Great Kingdom in past contests. November 17, 200816 yr S&M Tour Parties Into Eledan The Kingdom of Shadow's S&M tour arrived in Eledan in high spirits this evening after Sophie Ellis-Bextor was announced as a finalist in the 'Best of BJSC: The Rejects' last night. It means that the great Kingdom now has entries in both 'Best of' contests this month with Margaret Berger of course representing in the main contest. And of course what better place to celebrate than with the winners of BJSC XI and hosts for BJSC XII; Eledan! This fantastic country has enjoyed an intense relationship with the great Kingdom ever since we signed up in BJSC V. The friendship between the two nations is largely based on a huge respect the Shadowan people have for some quite fantastic musical entries from Tatu to Adele, Morandi to KoS favorite Maria Mena. The show was kicked off by Sophie Ellis-Bextor who performed 'Radio Ga Ga' live - Unfortunately a fat drunken man got on the stage during the performance but Sophie carried on undeterred. Margaret Berger performed a second live cover in the form of Bjork's 'It's Oh So Quiet'. The live songs kept coming as Sophie got back up on stage for her mega-hit 'Get Over You'. Margaret Berger congratulated the Eledanese crowd for their double qualification to the Best of final with the amazing Adele and Tatu before performing her contesting song; 'Will you Remember Me Tomorrow?'. The big finale was performed by Sophie Ellis-Bextor as she rocked the crowd with 'Heartbreak Make Me A Dancer'. The show has become the most selling of all time in Eledan! The tickets have been sold out long before the Internet pre-orders started. The organizators had to make special extra tickets because the hype about the future performance was so huge and they just couldn't help noticing the fantastic love to Kingdom of Shadow by Eledanese people.

November 23, 200816 yr Author CONGRATS :D (even though you beat me) :P I would have been equally happy to see The Veronicas take the crown - MKL are a phenominal nation for introducing me to Lady Gaga too - Thanks
November 23, 200816 yr Well done Tom. I honestly dont know why i didnt give Margaret any points in the original BJSC9, got 3 points from us tonight though.
November 25, 200816 yr random, but thought I'd post this: I've been trawling round various websites of record companies and sending them something similar to this message (this is the one I sent to Hard2Beat) I've noticed you have signed up a lot of stunning European acts in recent times, such as Sash! and September... another one who is ready for UK success in my opinion is the Norwegian Euro/electro-pop singer Margaret Berger...I don't think she has a record label in the UK, but she has a fantastic song called Will You Remember Me Tomorrow? that has absolutely HUGE 2009 hit potential...just thought you might like to know about it, I think it could be a big one for Hard2Beat! here is a youtube link, it has a very infectious hook in the chorus! before you ask, I'm not working on her behalf or anything, I just think she deserves success here but has no UK platform to get it at the moment...I'd love to see this song be massive: someone surely has to do something about bringing this great pop song over to Britain :o thought I'd try and make something happen, it's worth a try at least even though it's very unlikely...still, if anyone will listen, it's the independent companies!

Wow mate - that's pretty cool of you ^_^ I don't think anything off of Pretty Scary Silver Fairy will ever get released over here though, Margaret's working on new 'different' material which may or may not be suitable for international release but WYRMT has missed the boat I think. The album did gain a bit of a cult following on the web - you can find many many posts hidden away on music forums across the world featuring her and she got a mention on popjustice et other blogs but it failed to really get her any proper exposure and the album and single's flop in Norway pretty much put a stop to any plans for an international release.
November 25, 200816 yr you never know, September's Cry For You was pretty old, but got a release and promotion...it depends if Margaret would be willing to delay her current album in favour of a one off UK success obviously I don't expect anything to come of this but it would be interesting to see if any of the labels reply to me

Then again I could never see it doing well in this competition
