I see the consultant to-day, the first of the "every three months for the 1st year". I'm getting a pain in the right side of my back, but am keeping my fingers crossed that everything is OK. Probably muscles, fibres etc coming back to life.

Thanks for your kind thoughts. Things seem to be OK, and I see the consultant again in August. But no wonder I had a pain in my back - one of my upper ribs is broken. :( Sometimes when they operate they cut them but in my case they didn't, so it must have happened when everything was being pulled and pushed around.

Ouch! That sounds horrible. Poor you, with all you have had to put up with. Hope it soon heals. Take care.
