Why are they re-releasing the album? It sold over a million here in the US...since when is that bad? or considered the need for a re-release?

I'm a big Rihanna fan but I do not understand the reason for her re-releasing especially with such a weak track (as everyone has said already). Def Jam are so on point with her normally. Bizzare behavior on their behalf.

 

Ahh wells. It's weird, I love "Good Girl Gone Bad" as an album but hate "Shut up and Drive" and "Hate That I Love You". I dislike TAB too. So 3 of the 5 singles from this era won't have even charted for me. Would have had top 10s if she'd gone with BD or "Rehab" :(

Breakin Dishes, Rehab and Good Girl Gone Bad I think would have helped the album! :wub: but i really like this song too ^_^

I guess they think with a re-release fronted by Take A Bow, not only will they get sales from those who didn't already have the album, but fans will also buy it again for their collection. Makes sense. ^_^

 

I do still prefer Good Girl Gone Bad because that song is so bloody perfect, but Take A Bow is fantastic too. I love it. :D

I still think re-releasing with such a weak song as TAB is a mistake. It's too average, if they want people to buy the album again they should have had an amazing single lined up IMO.

Apparently Ryan Tedder lined up some amazing songs for her but they're being saved for the fourth album. :heehee:
