May 27, 200817 yr Author Lee made ONE sale, which explained his £3k sold. And he did that by sitting in the car with the gentleman and getting Alex to stand at the side and basically making the poor man feel very pressured indeed; when I watched that bit I cringed almost as much as when Michael chased another poor guy down the street! Also Lee's manner is far too rude; it's unforgivable. Alex performed well in this task, but it was for the first time in weeks, maybe ever. Normally he stands aside, moans and does fuck all.
May 27, 200817 yr Alex performed well in this task, but it was for the first time in weeks, maybe ever. Normally he stands aside, moans and does fuck all. That can be used to describe all 5 of the contestants on atleast 3 tasks though...
May 27, 200817 yr Alex is so c**p. I mean can you really see him managing a team? Claire needs to be in the final. She can manage. She can sell. She can pitch. Other person should be Lucinda or Lee, depending on what Alan wants for his business.
May 28, 200817 yr That would be THE worst final. They are so inept, and I wish they could be the next two to go, but obviously won't because an all-female final wouldn't happen. Nooope never would happen cause Michelle V Ruth in series 2 didnt happen ...... I am thinking the first 2 in the interviews to go will be Lucinda and Helene, and since sir alan doesnt like alex he may be the third to go but i would prefer Lee to go after seeing his attack on Sara a few weeks ago and his inablity to manage lucinda tonight. For me the perfect final would be Alex V Claire

For me the perfect final would be Alex V Claire He was absolutely vile to poor Sara  I'm thinking that Lucinda and Helene will probably go next week too, because I think that they are the least qualified, as much as I love Lucinda  Although I think is my new favourite now :o I hope she wins!

May 28, 200817 yr Lee made ONE sale, which explained his £3k sold. And he did that by sitting in the car with the gentleman and getting Alex to stand at the side and basically making the poor man feel very pressured indeed; I absolutely detest those sorts of high-pressured sales tactics.... <_< To me, that's unnacceptable, and that sale should've been voided.... Mind you, I kinda missed last night's show cos I was at a concert, but from the way you describe it, it seems beyond the pale....
May 28, 200817 yr Author You should try and catch up on iPlayer or on the repeat on Saturday or something Grimly; I know you would have a LOT to say about the sales tactics used throughout the episode! :heehee: At one point Michael was near to securing a deal but the high insurance premium put the gentleman off - not content with losing out on the deal, Michael actually asked the man if he could come with him to his business meeting  At which point the man ran away and eventually Michael said to the camera 'he lost me' - I don't think I have ever cringed so much in my entire life!

BLIMEY, almost sounds like he was propositioning the bloke in a way... And NOT in the business sense if you get my meaning..... :naughty:
May 28, 200817 yr Author Oh, I do :heehee: It's in the press today that apparently he once worked as an escort to pay off gambling debts!
May 28, 200817 yr Oh, I do :heehee: It's in the press today that apparently he once worked as an escort to pay off gambling debts! HOLY SH!T!!!!   He might as well have done a "Big Gay Following" thing (you ever watch Balls of Steel on C4?) and asked him "fancy a bum sir...?"

May 29, 200817 yr I read the Michael thing aswell, ha! I'm watching on iPlayer atm - highlight so far is Claire's face when she hears the cars revving up, she's all WTF?! Is Michael actually the biggest idiot ever? Who tries to flog a Ferrari at a fruit and veg market?! He's such a tit, for someone who was 'born to sell', he's just hideous to watch, stalking the dude to his meeting. Just awful. And blatant flirting with the "good looking guy" at Canary Wharf - get in there Michael. Bless Lucinda  "I'm quite enjoying selling, or at least trying to sell. It might be better if I actually made a sale, though". She's like, amazing!! And stood there calling the AM a Zonda, bless her. That's completely Lee's fault, though - why would you send someone who knows nothing about cars to Chelsea to flog an AM on their own?! Should have sent Alex to do the AM, and kept Lucinda with him - bad management from Mr Lee, and shocking treatment of her on a personal level! And Helene and the dude - "Which one do you think's the best?" "You" *vommm* To be honest the whole task is a bit pointless - why would you want to rent a Zonda for an hour, when you can only take it round London in that time, and the city's so bloody congested you can't even take it out and open it up!! And the thing's too damn expensive to rent for the whole weekend to take it out of the city where it's actually worth driving! Edited May 29, 200817 yr by Andrewy
May 29, 200817 yr If anyone liked The Apprentice AND The Weakest Link .... look out for a special on BBC1, Friday, 6th June, 8.30 pm. A Weakest Link special featuring participants from all series of The Apprentice. Contestants include Katie Hopkins, Jo Cameron, Kristina Grimes, Jenny Celerier, Kevin Shaw, Ian Stringer, Tre Azam, Paul Torrisi and James Max. I've bolded the ones I'm looking forward to seeing. Hope that Paul and James from the first series are as funny and clever as I remember them (and my god compared to the entrants in the current series - they now seem positive business magnates!) And Tre - well - what can you say? Love him! Norma

May 30, 200817 yr That's why the Zonda was only available to rent for the day... That's true  But I still wouldn't bother having a Ferrari for an hour
June 2, 200817 yr There's also a profile on tonight of the five finalists if anyone's interested. BBC1 at 10.45. Norma
