do you think she has missed her chance at a billboard hot 100 number 1?

 

unfortunately i do :( she could have got to number 1 this week, but Nelly Furtado is at 7 with Promiscuous girl from 30, and Rihanna's 'Unfaithful' is another big threat. i think sony have completely ****ed her chances up :(

They don't care - the album is still selling great. Getting number 1 on Billboard won't make them any money.

Well, I think she still has chances it the download is released within one month... With airplay only, it´s impossible even to reach the Top 5. If they take more then one month to release the download people will not care anymore... I think a # 1 song will give her more promotion, and that wouldn´t affect her album sales that much, the label is missing a chance. Specially because after Hips, no other song from her album has chances of being a big hit...

there has been a few dates for the download but neither happened, hopefully like they did with rihanna, since its hit the wall they'll release the download. People will soon lose interest in the song, and a billboard #1 is great promo for an album, and her upcoming tour

1 on the US iTunes. It may not be no.1 this week but it should be next week.

I completely take this back, she does now have a chance of #1! :D hopefully she can rise into the top 10 this week, then #1 next week.
