THE worst result i've ever seen on any of these BBC shows.

Rachel IS nancy. Such a shame they went for the young tart instead of the ultimate professional. I certainly wont be going to see the show with any of the last 3 remaining contestants - they're all distincly average and amateur.

The show now has turned into a farce where looks and personality wins over talent.

The Final is tonight:

Here are the latest ToteSports odds (But the other betting sites have similar odds):

Jodie - Evs

Jessie - 12/5

Samantha - 3

I want Samantha to win, but I think Jodie will get the Michelle McManus vote ahead of Jessie's sob (well the John "Scooch are perfect for Eurovision" Barrowman does not like me) story, with the best talent Samantha finishing in 3rd.

I want Sam to win, she has been very consistant throughout the show apart from last week obviously.

The other 2 have gone a bit shaky.

as long as Sam doesn't win I'm not too bothered as I love both Jodie and Jessie.

Well your wish has been granted.

I still think the stupid public will vote for Jodie (especially after Simon Cowell's :puke2: comments today in her favour).

But I totally agree with Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber & Cameron McIntosh that on tonight's performances Jessie IS Nancy, as her A game vocals that went AWOL for the last few weeks have returned for the final to fantastic effect.

SkyBets Latest Odds (19:05 Hrs):

Jodie 10/11 drifting

Jessie 10/11 shortening

Sam  WHY?????

She was the most consistant of all the girls.

Defying Gravity was her swansong B)

SkyBets Latest Odds (19:05 Hrs):

Jodie 10/11 drifting

Jessie 10/11 shortening

betfair.com (19:50 Hrs)

Jodie 48/29 drifting

Jessie 4/7 shortening

Well I've spent my 25p voting for Jessie.

Well I did say when the series began Jessie would win it, by the looks of it I might be right

Yes but remember the Final of X Factor 2007 when Rhydian was 1/6 on to win, and he lost.

ALW and Cameron are not very happy with the outcome I reckon there will be trouble in the ranks, they both wanted Jessie.

That was one of the WORST reiditions of 'He Needs Me' I've ever heard!

How did she win?!

She was good! :o Jessie was better, however.

Is she the one that sung 'Killing Me Softly' a while back?

If so, then yes, she should of won it. -_-

How did she win?!

the mind boggles, the public has no taste a la Leon Jackson

:manson: Tonight, ALW & CM have learnt a lesson, NEVER trust the Great British "Scooch ahead of Cyndi; Leon Jackson ahead of Rhydian; Steve Brookstein ahead of G4; etc" loving public to pick the right winner.

To be fair, any of the Final 4 Nancy's could do a very good job, it is just a pity they've gone for the one who'll in 5/10 years time will probably be landlady of the Queen Vic or Rovers Return ahead of more talented performers.

I feel so sorry for Jessie tonight, as she out performed Jodie on every single song tonight, as was reflected by all the Bookmakers in their dramatic changes to their odds, but still ended up the loser.

I disagree - Jodie is solid for this part, Jessie can't be trusted in my mind to put in a great performance every night. I wouldn't feel confident paying £60 to see her miss notes and walk around the stage like something from Jurassic Park. She DOES have star quality, but isn't a star yet. She'll benefit hugely from the training she'll receive from now on, and in 2 years time, after some intensive hard work, she will be wonderful as she has such a strong foundation to build on. But she's not good enough for WE Leading Lady just yet. The public got it right IMO. But Cameron will be pissed. At least the winner is actually only contracted to do 4 shows a week, not the 8 we've been led to believe *rolls eyes*

I believe the same for Sam. She's probably good enough for something in the West End, and clearly has fans so her presence will sell tickets. In the words of the Phantom of the Opera: "Her voice is good, but if she wants to excel, she has much still to learn." Her voice is clear, and usually in tune ('Hurt' aside, that is). But her acting is pretty woeful at times - I've never seen an actress grin throughout Defying Gravity or ALAHNM. Enough of this 'her own take on it' and 'redefining it' rubbish, it's not how those songs are written to be sung, or how they work in the context of their respective shows. She needs to sort out her interpretation of MT songs before she takes on a leading lady role, and with teaching she will. And she was no more right for Nancy that anyone else - she has a great energy and enthusiasm, and is far better suited to, and is capable of, parts other than Nancy.

Jodie isn't my ideal choice - that was Fran and she left long ago. But Jodie will put in excellent, competent performances every night, and lets face it, is hugely popular and will probably sell a considerable amount of tickets - so Cameron has no right to be pissed off. 'Safe' she may be - but at the end of the day, this is a competition to find someone who can take on this role and do it bloody well, not a competition to see who wins and see if they can do enough in 6 months to maybe, or maybe not, pull it off.

Suddenly it becomes obvious why CM & ALW did not want Jodie to win:

Watch out for... Burn Gorman in Oliver!

Dickens villian: Burn Gorman

• Burn Gorman, who has been cast as Bill Sikes in Oliver!, which Cameron Mackintosh is producing at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in December. Gorman was brilliant in the BBC TV version of Dickens' Bleak House and was also in Torchwood, Layer Cake and Low Winter Sun. He can be seen soon in the BBC thriller series Bonekickers. Gorman joins Rowan Atkinson (he's Fagin) and whoever wins (has won by the time you are reading this) the roles of Oliver and Nancy.

How can you have Jodie as Nancy, when it looks like she is the one who could beat up her Bill, not the other way around?

Sam was brilliant, Jodie was excellent, but Jessie was in another league, I do love Jodie but Jessie was clearly better on Saturday!
and im glad about Burn he is brilliant as is Rowan Atkinson and Jodie i really NEED to go and see this!
