Posted March 26, 200817 yr Just found this its from 26th of march so today lol Rapper TIMBALAND has vowed to give British pop band SUGABABES a musical makeover after he was introduced to the group while working with MADONNA and JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE. The Apologize hitmaker met the girlband when he was producing Madonna's latest single with Timberlake at a London recording studio and got chatting to the singers during meal breaks. Sugababes star Amelle Berrabah is delighted to have been approached by the 37-year-old, but was disappointed not to have bumped into the Like A Virgin hitmaker. She says, "Timberland (is) keen on us. He actually asked us to do stuff with him before. We ended up spending a lot of time with him and Justin last year. We'd have lunch and dinner together in between recordings. "They were great company - very funny. We couldn't get any Madonna goss out of them, though. "They were secretive about her new music. I knew she was with them but I never saw her."
March 26, 200817 yr I hope this is true. :heehee: An unlikely combination if ever there was one, but the results could be fun. :o Mind you, at £250k a track I'm not sure if Parlo will be funding it any time soon. :heehee:

March 27, 200817 yr I agree that a full Timbaland produced album wouldn't be a good idea, but two or three tracks for the next album would be cool. B)
March 28, 200817 yr I am sick of Timbo---all his beats sound the same, they are just tweeked to make people think they are different. Sugababes need to stick with the producer-types they use now.
March 28, 200817 yr ^That was jus un-called for lol! I dont reckon they should bother unless they are going to try and crack America again which they should have done with AYN..then again Change is'nt a strong enough album for them to so more than one single over there IMO.
March 30, 200817 yr I really hope this isnt true. Sugababes have a unique and clever formula, which is brilliant. I hate all this timbaland produced music at the moment. Its bland, boring and dull.
April 14, 200817 yr UPDATE! :o This is from the Popjustice forums: Amelle confirmed to a fan last night at one of the tour dates that they HAVE been working with Timbaland. That fan was me. Amelle stayed out and talked to the fans for about 5 minutes and confirmed they are working with Timbaland. Yay! :D Edited April 14, 200817 yr by Jark
April 14, 200817 yr i dont think it is good news as everyone is working with timbaland its getting boring and i dont think they should go down that roupte as they will end up copying the pussycat dolls

April 17, 200817 yr It'd work so much better if it were produced solely by him. I find albums which have x2349 different producers end up sloppy and without cohesion. Gwen's 'Sweet Escape' album being a good example of that...
April 17, 200817 yr no way. the babes style is different producers TIMW had 5 Dallas Austin tracks on it and that is the most that they have ever had by one producer on an album
