Who else wants to show some love for the best song on Spirit? :heart: Except perhaps for BL.

 

I love Angel so much! Everything from the production which is so modern unlike some of the album's ballads, to the chorus. :wub:

 

Omg! It must be a single, but I fear it won't be. :(

I don't think it's anywhere near BL's standard. One of my least fave on the album, all of Stargate's songs sound way too similar and the chorus isn't strong, no real hook. It's an ok song though, probably would do well in America as a single just like all of Stargate's songs do.

Not one of my favs, but it's still a good song. :)

I :heart: this song too! This has much more single potential than others on the album and i dont know how people arent liking it as much as they perhaps should do! lol Like you said it probably wont be released but i think it about the 6th best and 6th most potential single-wise on the album

 

My faves being, Better In Time, Take A Bow, Footprints, Bleeding Love, Whatever It Takes & then Angel

 

Bold = Singles already and Italics = Favourite to be the 3rd single! :D

I think angel would be an ok 4th or 5th single whent he albums already sold loads in the US by this time so it doesnt matter, atm its a bit of a mediocre follow up to anything really strong like BL, or forgive me. I do think its a good song but it doesnt stand out really. Radio eats up stargate production in the states though.

 

Im hoping they will release a deluxe album in october with FM and MG, then release one or both of these :D

Yesterday better than Angel? :heehee: Nah. Bleeding Love is the best but Angel is the best album track, along with Better In Time.

Angel is a pretty decent track. It dosn't appeal to me, but it's got a smooth luchious beat, like 'Irreplaceable'.

I'm undecided which is better Angel or Yesterday.

I love the vocals on both songs, but i'd say Yesterday is the better production-wise.

I think Yesterday has more of a chance of being released than Angel.

Well we'll have to disagree on that one :heehee: It's too stripped-back to have the hit potential angel has.

I love Angel to Jark :D It's such an awesome song. But I don't think it will be a single, although it should be :)

I was listening to this again today (For the Billionth time :lol:) and thought She HAS to release this! :heart: Now my 3rd Fave behind Take A Bow & Better In Time!

Not a massive fan of Angel. In My opinion there is much much better on the album that should be realesead instead.
