September is now #6

I'm going to sound like an old git.

But it really is a pile of manure. I'd actually rather listen to Cascada & Basshunter then this Euro-cheese dross. I actually thought Satellites was alright but this is set to replace Alphabeat as my Hate Chart #1 come Sunday.

Looking at the video it is exactly what I imagined the debut solo single by Sarah Harding (Girl's Aloud) to be like. :puke2:

To make matters worse I'm utterly amazed that the brilliant single, a huge USA blockbuster of a hit by Sara Bareilles "Love Songs" has so far failed to appear on the iTunes charts as I thought that was a potential #1 hit. How wrong I am.

while I don't agree with your views on September and in particular Alphabeat I agree with you 100% on Sara Bareilles, my favourite song and artist of 2008...but it hasn't had any airplay or video play in the UK has it? so I'm not expecting it to show up...to be honest though, even if it does show up on UK channels I doubt it will be a hit here...it might go the same way as Colbie Caillat's Bubbly which would be a real shame

plus Love Song became a hit in the US initially as it was used in a Napster commercial so perhaps if it had exposure on an advert here it might do something...

Don't judge her solely on the video or what not. September is really talented imo, and I'm usually a cheesey dance lover at all.

Watch this excellent acoustic version of 'Cry for You' she did a year or so ago:

Plus she wrote the track herself too. She's more than typical Euro-cheese dross I'd say...

I don't get why people would think that of September anyway. Cry For You doesn't sound like euro-cheese in the same vain as Cascada; it's just a dance-track. It sounds poppy if anything, which you'd expect from a Swedish singer. It's just good pop!

:o Jark... your letters are getting smaller and smaller :o

Maddona is no.1 now

Estelle slips to 2.

Edited by Just Dan

I knew she'd do it, they were so close earlier.

Not surprised Madge is number 1 now Its really grown on me and it seems to have grown on a few more people this past few days or so! ^_^

September are up to number 5! :D

happy to see Madonna and September climbing!

I see Sara Bareilles has made an appearance at No.58 in the pop chart just a day after we were discussing the song :o

has it appeared on radio/music channels?

Could be a battle for number one in the official chart next week with Madge and September
Mimi down 1 to #8, Usher up 1 to #11, Britney down 2 to #16, Will.i.am down 1 to #22, Nelly & Fergie up 1 to #46. ^_^
Glad usher is climbing but a shame about Britney, Will.i.am and Mimi falling
Pleased to see Madonna rise to number one - it's really grown on me over the last few days, and I much prefer it to 'American Boy'.
