thanks Aaron, great for M.A.G.I.C, I think my previous highest before this was perhaps Sanna Nielsen or Pixie (can't remember) seeing as my glory days were around the middle of the contest's history (although two top threes in the last three contests is nothing to be ashamed of :P)

I dunno, I reckon it'd still lean towards smaller contests just because we always give 10 songs points but the amount of songs to pick from ranges from 19 to 28 so people were always more likely to give points to "Love Song" than "Black Butta". (smallest final vs biggest final) Maybe it's worth working out though.

this formula works actually as I came 4th with Sanna in IX, then like you say 3rd in XI and 2nd in XIII
