Clarification on the deletion of Gnarls Barklay's CRAZY:

Quote from the OCC rules:

* Deleted singles, should they have sold enough to remain in the Top 75 two weeks subsequent to deletion, will then lose their chart positions and become starred out for the remainder of their life unless subsequently physically re-issued.

(Please note however that all ongoing digital sales will continue to be eligible for the Official Download Charts.)

* For example a single that is deleted in week 14 of 2006 will need to have been informed to retailers, Millward Brown & OCC in week 13 and

will continue to be eligible for the chart in weeks 14 and 15 before being removed from the chart in week 16.*

'Crazy' was deleted on May 29th, the announcement was made a few days earlier, so this week should be the last time we see it in the Top 200.

Thanks to Foxtrot at CHC for this :D

The Chart Run for Crazy is:

1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-2-5

9 weeks at #1, but only 11 weeks in the chart? How unusual

Damn the OCC with their stupid rules.

That said, really we should blame Gnarls Barkley themselves for deleting it in the first place. Another reason to be annoyed at them is that maybe if they hadn't have deleted it last week then Sandi Thom would never have got to number one.

So its finally gone? :cheer:

Agree about the Sandi comment tho

 U calling me an idiot?

Grow up you greasy chav
