He's absolutely amazing. My favorite artist everrr. Tristan is my favorite by him, and actually probably one of my favorite songs ever.

run run run as fast as you can but you cant out run the child catchers hands.

The Libertine is fantastic, as is A Boy Like Me. So much to love about this one.

you will be surprised then, none of his other stuff is really like The Magic Position. he is very dark, i like Lycanthorpe myself, if you want reccomendations from a patrick wolf obsessive though ask Medicated Soap.

I like the Magic Position but I was put off him because I thought it would all be happy, smiley music which can get a bit much sometimes!

I'll definitely download some of his older stuff then. Thanks for the advice -_-

Nah Magic Position isreally differnt to the majority of his music, he is very grim, try 'paris' or 'The Childcatcher'

I saw him supporting Arcade Fire last year and thought he was really good so I'm looking forward to the new album.

Downloaded all of his albums now and absolutely love all three!

If I hadn't seen this thread, I probably wouldn't have got any of them, so thanks to issy for starting it!
