Some actual SEB news. 'Off and On' was put on rotation to the Russian biggest radio station, Europa Plus. And apparently, the album is getting released here in a month too!

 

This is one of the times when living in Russia is a privilege.

Wow that cover is hideous. It looks like she's been awake ever since the first release date of this album was announced all those years ago.

Hahahaha! I assume it IS a physical release, as the online market is very unstructured here. The same radio station will heavily support the album release, so I guess she will sell a bit at least here!

All I hope that it will get released here at least. I'm thinking of sending you the CDs if we don't find the other ways of importing it. :lol:

I actually prefer the original version of Off & On to this one. I like the vocodor effects on the end but the first version had a good intro thing instead of a 3rd chorus (the 3rd chorus is too much for this song imo, it gets repetive).

 

I'm addicted to Not Giving Up on Love right now :wub: Wish it was longer than 2:54!

The cover... is horrendous to say the least. Ah well, I've given up on the album now.

Good news! I STILL didn't really believe this release, but I'm glad she confirmed it.

 

Is the cover a new photo? Because it looks like it's just being used for the sake of adding a cover.

I really don't think it matters whatsoever. The cover isn't that bad, granted it's not great but at least it's better than 'Bittersweet's single cover.

 

The album has not a hope in hell of doing well anyway, we should just be thankful it looks like we could actually be getting it.

Glad to know it's coming here. Yeah, the artwork's not great (I actually prefer 'Bittersweet''s), but the music should be good anyway.

This forum is on the new list of 'Forums to be Axed', which I think is about time if I'm being honest! It'll be archived within the next four weeks if there isn't significant improvement here, which I doubt can be achieved even with the album coming up.

Although I'm quite an active poster in this forum I agree there's no need for a proper SEB place here. :cry: She's hardly going to ever be successful again (out of Russia), I'll be happy at this stage if she just releases some music on an indie label since now every 4-5 years or however she wants. The main thing I have learned from her is not to expect _anything_ about the forthcoming material. I mean, firstly those countless delays / renames of the album (or even Greatest Hits compilation!), then everyone gave up, and then bum! And we are probably getting the whole thing in like one week from now.

Oh noes. First I lost Natasha Bedingfield (not that I was active there, and with her last album I actually lost interest), then Shania and now Sophie :drama:

 

The only one left for me in my artists will be Sugababes.. luckily I don't see that going anywhere.
