The New Guinness Book Of Hit Singles and Albums is c**p!!! not worth the £14.99 its going for!!! :-(

whay can't they keep the layout simple! and not over complicate things by merging the albums and singles data above the number one time line!!!!

very disappointing think i should have bought the other book with just the singles in when it came out a month ago!!!

booooooo!!!! to Hit Entertainment (and thats with the orange and black type!!!!)

well if it comes down even more maybe, but im gonna see if the other book's gonna have an album version coming out in the next few months like last time. think those two books will be better

I will probably just buy this one. I have a £5 book voucher too, so it'll be less for me ^_^

Are there any notable mistakes? That ruined it for me last time <_<

This edition is out in 2 weeks time (June 10th).

So how come Tigerboy's seen it?

It is out now in Swindon.

I bought it in WHSmiths (yesterday) & both Virgin & HMV are selling it.

I really like the new timeline layout. It always used to annoy me when the singles & albums were kept separate & I've yet to find a mistake with the new book.

The funniest thing is their Top100 albums where enough Arctic Monkeys fans voted for their debut album before it got released, so it could count in the poll (taken up to the end of 2005)!

In that case, I'll have a look for it tomorrow :D

And who had got a long signature, its stretching the pages a bit

hmv also normally a bit cheaper as they are waterstones as well (and maybe ottakars by the time you read this   )

but they are separate charts!!! just think if an american chart book would do this with all the charts they have in billboard, would be such a trudge to get thru

Any chance of someone uploading a few of the inside pages so we can see it ?

i didnt bother buying it, which i normally do straight off

i might buy it though, or just have a quick look

think the Complete UK Hit Albums 1956 - 2006 by Graham Betts will come out in October if it's anything like the last book

You should just read it in the shop then wait till next year when the new one comes out. I wouldnt buy it as its being updated ever year, so a bit pointless really.
I bought this today, I think it's fine the way it is :D Though I agree with evkl, its a waste of time buying it really because its updated every year and there will always be info missing.
