Posted April 16, 200817 yr Cheryl Cole planning solo career? Wednesday, April 16 2008, 09:28 BST By Alex Fletcher, Entertainment Reporter Cheryl Cole has started planning a music career outside of Girls Aloud, say reports. According to The Sun, the popstar is in talks with producer T2, who recently scored a number two hit single with 'Heartbroken'. T2 has been linked to stars including Kelly Rowland, Kate Nash and Natasha Bedingfield in the past. However, Cole was apparently upset last week when the Leeds-born musician chose to postpone recording dates to work with Alesha Dixon instead. A source said: "Cheryl and T2 have been in discussions about her solo material. He is the man of the moment, with a lot of pop acts clamouring for his expertise on collaborations. "He told her she would have to hold on a bit longer because he had commitments with Alesha - which went down like a lead balloon. "Cheryl is keen to get cracking on new material and didn’t want to play second fiddle to anyone else." Cole recently claimed that her life would be "worthless" without the rest of Girls Aloud around her. Digital Spy  Hmm..
April 16, 200817 yr Rumors about the band splitting have been flying around since the greatest hits - I do think they would be silly to split though. As much as i love them all, i cant really any of them being half as successful with a solo career!
April 16, 200817 yr It's not true, Cheryl has never even met T2. Girls Aloud lawyers are looking into it.
April 16, 200817 yr  just because people who didn't see Passions and are seeing the will.i.am track, are just making up a load of c**p as they haven't got anything better to do
April 16, 200817 yr I see at least one more album and then Greatest Hits Volume 2 and then that could be it :( But all good things must come to an end!
April 16, 200817 yr they wud be silly not to do another studio album and then g hits vol 2 they can get great success with thiose, they are doing brilliant right now and they shudnt pack it in
April 16, 200817 yr It's not true, Cheryl has never even met T2. Girls Aloud lawyers are looking into it.  Good news.
April 16, 200817 yr I don't think it's true! and, i hope we get at least 2 more studio albums and then another GH at least... none will be huge as solo stars and they might aswel be huge as girls aloud for another few years before having kids etc I hope that they stay together for another 4 years, so that they can say they were together and on top for ten years.. they obv won't stay together that long, but i hope they do.. they seem like too good friends to split, with only nadine being the most distant one, which is a worry considering she has the most solo talent!
April 17, 200817 yr Of course it's rubbish. Oh and the official website denies today any rumour of Cheryl going solo or ever meeting T2.
April 17, 200817 yr I agree that there will hopefullt be at least 1 more studio album if not 2. Then GH volume 2. Solo wise i dont think any one of them will have sucsess in the long term though i think if Cheryl or Nadine will probably have a fair bit of sucsess.
April 18, 200817 yr I know it's not true, but as it's a discussion - Cheryl is the only one I can imagine ever having a successful solo career. Sarah might do okay for a while doing dance tracks, and Kimberley would most likely do stage stuff - I'm sure I've read interviews about musicals waaaay before the Passions stuff came about. I'm not sure what Nicola and Nadine would do post-GA?
April 18, 200817 yr they 'll probably all experiment with a solo career then go back to the actual group like the spice girls witch will probably end up with them splitting after a few more albums and a greatest hits vol II I desperately don't want them to split but that's probably what will happen
April 19, 200817 yr They wont be around forever, if they do enough for a second greatest hits., i'll be ecstatic.
