Posted April 20, 200817 yr Britney Spears won’t just be singing in her next music video — she’ll be directing it too. The ‘Toxic’ star, 26, will go behind the camera for new single Radar, which is out in July. A source said: “She wants to make sure it’s exactly right.” The singer’s last video, directed by Robert Hales, saw an animated Spears work her way through a futuristic world for the single ‘Break The Ice’. Meanwhile, Britney is set to make another guest appearance on CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother. “The show is ecstatic and so is Britney,” a source told People.com. “She had so much fun the first time around she really wanted to come back. It was a mutual decision to work together more.” Spears will do just the one episode, the source says. Fox studios would not confirm the appearance. The ‘Gimme More’ star first appeared on the show on its March 24 episode, playing a a bubbly, sweet, receptionist at a dermatologist’s office who fell for one of the show’s main characters, played by Josh Radnor. She received wide accolades for the spot. “She was hilarious in the table-read, and I got to see her do the run-through as well, and she was great,” cast member Jason Segal said. http://www.showbizspy.com/2008/04/20/britn...xt-music-video/ OMG! I hope it's true
April 20, 200817 yr FABULOUS CHOICE! I know for a fact that the album will sell way more then 300k if this is true! 'Radar' is instantly catchyand sticks in your hand...this will definitely go top ten in the UK...not sure about the US though...
April 20, 200817 yr :yahoo: Radar is in Britneys all time Top 5 Album Tracks which is still set to be announced! And i knew it would be, because IMO it is the perfect follow-up to Break The Ice! ^_^
April 20, 200817 yr It IS a surefire hit in the UK, but it's also a very tacky song. I'd rather have Heaven On Earth. Still, I'll support it. ^_^
April 20, 200817 yr This should have been third over that 'Break The Ice' rubbish, I think it would have stood a better chance of giving her another top 10 then. I'm not sure about how it'll do now though...
April 20, 200817 yr This will be Top 10 regardless. And 'Break The Ice' was by far the fan favourite and the concensus choice for 3rd single.
April 21, 200817 yr This will be Top 10 regardless. And 'Break The Ice' was by far the fan favourite and the concensus choice for 3rd single. It doesn't seem to have had much appeal outside of her fanbase, given that it was a 'fan choice' apparently.
April 21, 200817 yr Noooooo :( "Radar" is probably my least fave on Blackout. I loved it for about two days and now i cant listen, very annoying after a short while. The gem and possibly my fave Britney song "Get Naked" will probably never be released now :(
April 21, 200817 yr Great choice! :D I think it should definitely be another hit for her. It's pretty catchy and I think it should gain support pretty easily.
April 21, 200817 yr I am now imagining this doing what Break The Ice has done! :( People seems to love it and want it released, but now its getting released, theyre saying horrible things about it, like its 'The Worst on the album' etc... Well here on Buzzjack 'Radar' is the 3rd favourite Album Track of all time by Britney! ^_^
April 21, 200817 yr I really don't think "Get Naked" would do well. "Radar" is the best choice. or Hot As Ice & Toy Soldier... but now i am thinking 'Heaven On Earth' could do well too! :o

Well here on Buzzjack 'Radar' is the 3rd favourite Album Track of all time by Britney! ^_^ Every reviewer has said that 'Gimme More', 'Piece Of Me' and 'Radar' were the standout tracks on the album...I agree because they are the most commercial. 'Break The Ice' is great and deserved alot better but it is not as commercial as alot of the other songs on the album.

Loved by most... even NON Britney Fans! :o :w00t: I know at least 7 people at work who wont listen to Britney but have said 'Gimme More' is a pop gem! etc... and they also love her new stuff too! POM and BTI have all faired ok with them... not as much as GM but they have had some sort of positive impact on them! :)
