May 1, 200817 yr Been listening to this today and it has not disappointed me in the slightest. I love Luke Pritchards voice so much. I could listen to him all day. I love the mix of songs on this album. I didn't think they could match Inside In/Inside Out for me, as second albums so often disappoint, but I really like this and it is going to get a lot of play in my car. I agree...
May 3, 200817 yr Apparently the next single will be Shine On, i probably wouldn't of chosen it as the next single but i think it will do alright.
May 4, 200817 yr I don't think reviews affect album sales that much, particularly those for second albums, as a lot of people who bought the first one will buy the second one without possibly having read any reviews.
May 6, 200817 yr Apparently the next single will be Shine On, i probably wouldn't of chosen it as the next single but i think it will do alright. It's quite a summery song, and I do think it's a nice song but as a 2nd single? Completely the wrong choice imo. The record company should have stuck with Sway.
May 8, 200817 yr HOw can you say anything bad about The Kooks... they are awesome... I went to see them play last week... they blew me away!!! There is a new band coming out which kinda have the same sound as The Kooks... has anyone heard of 'The Hot Melts' ... they are great... have a listen to this free download:
May 8, 200817 yr bad reviews wont deter me from liking or not any artist or artists material. if i like it then sod the rest... especially the nme! ..Actually, I usually find if the NME slate it, I'm more inclined to like it..... Not that it's worked in the case of The Kooks however.... Awfulness.... -_-
May 8, 200817 yr HOw can you say anything bad about The Kooks... It's pretty easy actually.... ...The Kooks are a bunch of namby-pamby public schoolboys who basically do a cr@ppy take on The Libertines without any of the danger.... See? It's very easy to say bad things about The Kooks....
May 8, 200817 yr Well I own their debut and it's a decent enough album, worth thr £4 I paid for it anyway... But whilst I occasionally still listen to it, or atleast songs off it, I have no interest in their follow-up whatsoever. The lead single is much worse than anything on their debut. I bought their debut for £3 in a sale but not overkeen so not interested in the follow-up.
May 9, 200817 yr A video has been shot for Do You Wanna, I thought they were going for Sway and Gap as the 2nd and 3rd singles They even premiered Sway at Glastonbury last year so must have thought it was good enough
May 10, 200817 yr Wikipedia lied to me! :drama: I think the chorus to do you wanna is really cheesy but the guitar riff in the song will probably make it popular.
