The Last Shadow Puppets look set to clinch the number one slot on the albums chart with their debut The Age Of The Understatement (Domino).

The album outsold its nearest competitor, The Kooks’ second album Konk (Virgin), by more than two to one yesterday.

Lower down the charts, Whitesnake’s new album Good To Be Bad (SPV Recordings) looks set for a top ten entry, while Chris De Burgh’s Now And then (UMTV) should challenge for a top thirty placing.

In the singles chart, Madonna looks likely to score a second week at number one with 4 Minutes (Warner Bros), which was released physically yesterday (Monday).

Meanwhile, Wiley’s Wearing My Rolex should give revived Warner label Asylum its first hit in its new guise, with the single currently challenging for a top ten placing on download sales.

PLEASE NOTE

I won't be around during the day this week apart from Wednesday afternoons, hopefully someone else can fill my boots while I'm away. But please do not post full lists, you all know the format.

Please keep this thread on topic at all times, I do not want to repeat myself every week, no text talk is allowed, do not write in block CAPS, and keep all requests in one post if you can, and try to read the thread topic before asking a question and please be patient while you are waiting for your question to be answered. I know some threads get long winded, and its a bummer to read through, but surely it can't be that hard if you bookmark the page...

While you wait for your weekly dose of chart info to arrive after 11am sometime take part in our pinned games, not all updates are guaranteed every day but we try our hardest to keep the info coming in every day. Please do not post lists, or sales info unless you are told to by myself or a chart mod, if you do have sales info that you wish to share round them off to the nearest thousand and name your source, do not post precise sales figures.

Thank you for your time.

IF ANYONE SPAMS THIS TOPIC TO HIGH HEAVEN WILL BE GIVEN A WARNING, NOT REALLY VERY NICE FOR GUESTS TO READ ALL THE CLAPTRAP

NO SALES INFORMATION YET

Hi!

Can you please tell me Mariah's single and album position? Thanks.

Ooh! YAH! for Girls Aloud's album back in the top 15! And for Will I Am in the top 10. Will it be cheeky for me to ask for the exact positions? And also the position of Can't Speak French?

Not bad for either, I was expecting MUCH bigger drops in both, particularly in albums. ^_^

No although number 40 is missing I don't think she is there.
