July 3, 200916 yr Author Aaahhhh Personally, I think Emilia will do better but I slightly prefer Malena. Also Pavel has expressed a desire for Malena to be in the contest whereas nobody has really expressed all that much for Emilia. Then again, should I really be listening to the person who gave the only point to Martina two contests back? :P
July 3, 200916 yr Teardrops is fine but I'm not that fussed about Emilia other than You're My World... I'm quite intrigued about Malena's other material on the other hand
July 3, 200916 yr I like ALL losing NF/ESC material by default. Just some songs are not THAT good. LOL. Plus the contest quality wasn't the best :P
July 3, 200916 yr I like ALL losing NF/ESC material then you must like Laura :kink: btw I'm not amazed with Malena's album :( La Voix is the only fab song and there are maybe 1 or 2 good songs. I prefer Emilia
July 3, 200916 yr Yes, indeed, i already like it even though i didn't hear the song. It can only disappoint me or overwhelm too much. :o Edited July 3, 200916 yr by «Pavel»
July 3, 200916 yr Author So Rich isn't actually that fussed on Teardrops, and Pavel hasn't actually heard Tragedy  Nobody at all who is not into Swedish pop has commented on them, and I've been doubting more and more whether they'll qualify. So sod all of them, I'm sending this. QYtf__P8j6o Edited July 3, 200916 yr by Peter30
July 4, 200916 yr Aren't you afraid of Snalla Snalla's destiny? :o :( Good choice though. She absolutely SUCKED live but the studio version is great!
July 4, 200916 yr interesting choice! 12 points from Angelicland beckons if his personal chart is anything to go by
July 9, 200916 yr Oh the pressure....remember Azerbaijan had a big final for their debut this year, and look what we ended up with! But I will endeavour to bring an entry of quality and sophistication to the Contest! It's looking like it will be a diverse national final, with a wide variety of styles between the 4 songs! I'm just finalising the entries now. Elnur And Samir were amazing ;)
July 9, 200916 yr Author Elnur And Samir were amazing ;) Yes but if you look at the date of the post, this was before Europe properly realised what a strong performance they would give.
July 28, 200915 yr Author Well, ducking out of a contest because one doesn't really feel like entering apparently isn't an option any more, so here I am for BJSC XIX :) I haven't really been able to think that much about potential songs, especially not ones that could get good results, so I'm just going to send one of my favourite songs of all time. It's a version of the song I just recently discovered, as performed by a previous winner of the contest. I don't think it will do all that well, but the contest is about sharing music you love, so hopefully a few people will enjoy it. I'll post my entry tomorrow :)
July 28, 200915 yr sounds good. that's what I did this month aswell...I have sent one of my faves of all time...Jewel-Intuition
July 28, 200915 yr Author sounds good. that's what I did this month aswell...I have sent one of my faves of all time...Jewel-Intuition  :o I love it!!!! Why did I never think of sending that one?!
July 28, 200915 yr Author As I said, the waiting list means that if I don't enter a song this time, I may be chucked out for a couple of contests, so I'm just going to enter a song I really love. Even though it is by a previous winner, this is straying very close to Gigi D'Alessio territory for me once again. Nevertheless I hope you enjoy this song that was originally a hit for Kermit the Frog!! The Dixie Chicks - Rainbow Connection is Herzebania's 12th entry to the Buzzjack Song Contest. Enjoy :) pzoZhb7ELNI
August 17, 200915 yr Author So time for Herzebania to start choosing its 13th entry. So far I'm torn between either departing completely from the usual Herzebanian fare, Millionaires with Take Your Shirt Off, which has potential I think for reception similar to "Headhunted" and "Left My Heart In Tokyo" and could finish in a position similar to either of them...it's very love/hate. ZbRC5UwJbrM Or I could go with a more typical Herzebanian entry, Shiri Maimon with Now That You're Gone which I can see qualifying then stalling a la Tori Amos and Marie Serneholt... 1Rq_H__21VA Thoughts please?
August 17, 200915 yr Millionaires = Awesome! :o (But might be a bit repetative eventually? not sure..) And Shiri song.. I just like it, but not a "BOOM!" track.. though it's pleasant :) Edited August 17, 200915 yr by Freeze
August 18, 200915 yr Shiri Maimon – Now That You're Gone 9/10 I like that a lot! Millionaires – Take Your Shirt Off 4.5/10
