Manchester United drop Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez to the bench. Nemanja Vidic is back in defence while Mikael Silvestre plays at left-back instead of Patrice Evra. Anderson, Darren Fletcher, Nani and Ryan Giggs also come into the line-up. April 26, 200817 yr Author Apparently Vidic's tooth went through his lip.... ouch :o If fergie doesnt change this to an attacking game soon, we're gonna lose this. Edited April 26, 200817 yr by JamesP
April 26, 200817 yr I know Utd can afford to lose this game but they'll still be on equal points so one slip up and the title could be gone I'm really surprised both Ronaldo and Tevez are on the bench
April 26, 200817 yr Ballack with a header, 1-0 <_< and can someone please tie Kalou's arms behind his back. If I see him protest once more I may hit my TV :(
April 26, 200817 yr Come on Chelsea! Send it right down to the wire!! Rooting for Millwall and Luton today!
April 26, 200817 yr As a Liverpool supporter I don't know who I want to win or whether I want Chelsea to play us on Wednesday thinking they still have a chance of winning the title or not. But fair play to Chelsea for going for it in the first half and getting what they deserved thanks to Ballack's injury time goal. I have to ask, what does Drogba have to do to get booked? Whilst Ballack's booking was a complete farce. Still if the score stays the same at Full-time will Manchester United fans still be hailing Fergie's tactical acumen for leaving out Ronaldo, Evra, Scholes & Tevez in such a huge fixture?
April 26, 200817 yr Chelsea win thanks to a Michael Ballack penalty; the first penalty wich Man Utd have conceded in the League this season, all 20 teams now have.
April 26, 200817 yr Have that Man U! :D Probably just a moral victory though as i'm sure they will still win the league even if only on goal difference.
April 26, 200817 yr Well Done Chelsea today. Athough I agree with the others this victory will turn out to be only a moral one with Manchester Utd moving to within 1 of Liverpool's 18 titles by the end of the season. Still who still thinks Avram Grant should get sacked after the excellent season he has had guiding Chelski to 1 defeat in 29 League fixtures?
April 26, 200817 yr Author GUTTED. Fergies team selection in the first half was all wrong and we were so unlucky in injury time LOL oh well, we can still do it... i hope :D
April 26, 200817 yr well as ludicrous as Ballack's booking was, it's ludicrously the law, and there was no consistency, as he popped into the crowd, which should have been a 2nd yellow -_-
April 26, 200817 yr I don't mind Avram and it's been an alright season except for his League cup final tatics and gonig out to Barnsley in the FA cup. If we do win the league Shevchenko will have made his price almost worth if for that goal line clearance.
April 26, 200817 yr Well Done Chelsea today. Still who still thinks Avram Grant should get sacked after the excellent season he has had guiding Chelski to 1 defeat in 29 League fixtures? I still think Chelsea can do it. Man Utd have now won just two of their last six matches and their last two games are West Ham (H) and Wigan (A). West Ham have beaten Man Utd in all of their last three league meetings and Wigan, after having lost H&A to all of the big four in their first two seasons, have taken points off Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea this.
April 26, 200817 yr Oh well! What is five minutes of injury time without Tevez on the field? :P Not happy but it'll make it interesting though.
