The story of Andrea Corr nearly being hit has been all over Bhangran television. The police are holding somebody though, following rigurous viewing of the CCTV cameras in Bhang Hall and released this statement, "we believe we have enough evidence to charge the man we are currently holding, who originates from Simmondly." Many Bhangrans last night called on the country's official broadcaster to "do a Lebanon" and refuse to broadcast the Simmondly [israeli, in the case of the Lebanese] entry following this revelation.

Nox in Quotosibb

The Sangrian band, Nox has just given the first concert of their promo tour in Quotosibb. There were almost a full-house and they were astonished by their fans.

We have never ever thought that we have so many fans here in Quotosibb. It was great to perform in front of a crowd like this. We've had a wonderful time here but unfortunately we have to go on. We are travelling to FSR Rontvia this night and we hope there will be a similarly warm welcome like we have had here. We are anxious to perform there.

BHANGRA LATE NEWS

Fragma have just completed their mini tour of Kopecka, giving two live performances to thousands of screaming fans. The performances were a success, and the act hope to turn this popularity into "douze points" in a few days time.

Filmed in front of a live audience in the Shadowan Capital, Kentish Town, it is hoped this video shall help to further raise the profile of this song before it is re-released on sale in all BuzzJack Song Contest Nations.

So, turn you're volume up, get out of your seats for the one and only Sir Tom Jones!

Tom Jones was asked to comment on the competition after his performance but refused, his agent however did state

This is a great competition to be involved in, we just hope people don't take it too seriously, after all it is meant to spread good will and friendship throughout the BuzzJack continent not create hostility.

The Corrs concert in Simmondly

Although fears of another attack were present when the corrs entered Simmondly. Andrea Corr said "That man from Simmondly was just one person and doesn't reflect the feelings of the entire nation at all, so I'm confident we'll get by without a hitch".

And she was right, after several performances of thier greatist hits, Runaway, Breathless, only when I sleep and finally Dreams the corrs left Mondly Hall with this to say "It was just great! The energy tonight was amazing and we're glad we did it"

The corrs will be heading to FSR Rontvia to perform Dreams among other songs aswell at the Rontvian Stadium at 9.pm tonight. Things are looking up for The corrs so far and they hope they can finish the promo tour with no more problems.

Ashton Creates Full Song List

Today Ashton unveiled the full participant list for the BJSC. It includes every entry into the contest for both finals and semi-finals from the Initial contest in Bokia upto the confirmed songs for Eledan later this month.

A representative of the Ministry for The Buzzjack Song Competition (aka. The Ashton Selection Committee) had this to say:

As one of the longest runners in the BJSC we felt that we should participate something to the greater continent of Buzzjack and the song contest. Just like FSR Rontiva has with the successful stats thread

The thread is available to view Here

Laura Stevenson returns from Bhangra

Herzebania's representative spent her bank holiday weekend in Bhangra, promoting her entry, Down.

"It was great fun," said the singer-songwriter, who, despite not going on an official tour, is appearing in several countries whose representatives performed at the Herzebanian final, out of her own pocket.

"It feels great to meet foreign fans of the Contest, and it was amazing to be somewhere where the Contest is already an established event."

When asked about the controversy surrounding rivalry between Fragma and N-Trance, as well as in-fighting between Serebro, Stevenson said, "I'm sure it's all been extremely blown out of proportion by the press. I met Coco Star, as well as the members of Serebro and they were all lovely. I don't know what goes on behind the scenes, but the press do like a story, and I suppose it has helped raise the profile of the acts."

"I think the public have great faith in me," she said in response to local articles saying she had been given disappointing odds of winning. "You have to remember that we're a debut nation, so I'm very impressed that people have been putting their money on me at all! That's a compliment in itself. I just want to go and have fun, which is what I'm doing. I love travelling, and I can't wait to go to Kopecka and Sangria later this week. I'd love to meet up with Beverley Knight again, so hopefully I can get to Quotosibb before or after the Contest, as I feel we hit it off - and us first timers have to stick together!"

Serebro draw press attention after smacking Untouched

Tongues wagged in Constarvan after a saucy performance in which Kopecek entrants Serebro teamed up with Rontvian entrants Untouched - dominatrix outfits and all - to perform a medley of BJSC hits, including a steamy kiss during the inaugural Mdicek winner And Then We Kiss between Elena Temnikova of Serebro and Fiona Grace of Untouched; which was greeted with rowdy cheers from the audience; before concluding with a bastard-pop remix of Opium with Smack Me!

Setlist

What's Your Problem? // Song #1 // And Then We Kiss/Dangerous/Not Ready To Make Nice/Love Song/Gomenasai // Opium/Smack Me!

Newspapers and parental groups across the continent criticised Serebro for giving such a kinky performance on a performance which was broadcast live in several countries and may have been watched by children. "TV should know they're never going to have a guarantee of a 'safe' performance from us - we're always pushing boundaries, and if anyone thinks a child should be sheltered from homosexual behaviour they really need to get into the 21st century. It wasn't even homosexual for goodness sake - Fiona and I just chatted before the performance and thought it would be a blast", Elena was quoted as saying. Serebro have confirmed that they will be honouring all further performances as well as revisiting Sangria as an apology for their behaviour last Friday.
