Posted May 1, 200817 yr Hey guys. So I saw an article on the front page of buzzjack that said how Estelle's song "American Boy" ft. Kanye West is now No.2 on the UK charts after being No.1 for the past 4 weeks. I think it's so great the song is doing so well but I was surprised the article didn't mention the fact that the song was written by Keith Harris (drummer for Blackn Eyed Peas). He is such a talented musician and deserves credit! He produced Jully Black's album which won at the Junos and he wrote Estelle's song which is becoming a huge hit! So I just wanted to give the guy a some credit...way to go Keith!
May 1, 200817 yr I wish I could fly... right up to the sky... but I can't  Sorry I could not resist that. -_-
May 1, 200817 yr I thought you meant him with Orville  So did I. And Keith - that's Ruby's dad's name. Which just makes it even more fun (especially since their surname is "Allen"). Edited May 1, 200817 yr by DitzyNizzy
May 2, 200817 yr Haha..... I bet Orville had some input into the track too. 'Place me on your hand I want to sing today' 'Place me on your hand I will not fly away' 'I really want to... be attached to you' 'You'll be my ventriloquist guy' 'My ventriloquist guy'
