While their individual formative roots ranged from producing drum & bass, breakbeat and hardcore, to playing in metal and punk bands, their comparable talents proved an unstoppable force when they managed to single-handedly conquer the world of drum & bass in their first 12 months together. The last 12 months have seen Pendulum retreat to the depths of the underground to work on their second album, and to hone and perfect their sound for the live arena. Finding that using purely electronic sounds left something to be desired, they fetched their guitars and worked on perfecting their ultimate sound - an electronic Led Zeppelin, a crunked up Soundgarden, Tool meets Timbaland, combined with the synthetic aggression and sonic purity of the original Pendulum sound. Description [From HMV] 'In Silicio' is the second album from Australian drum and bass outfit Pendulum. Best known for their heavy beats and menacing basslines, the follow up to 2007's debut 'Hold Your Colour' is a much bolder album, mixing various styles together, from rock to electronica resulting in a melodic and exhilarating record. Includes the single 'Propane Nightmares'. DQA1d0QQvf8 'Granite' zfwWgHi7gok 'Propane Nightmares' Downloading nowwww.

May 3, 200817 yr All dance threads get put in 'Commercial Dance'. There's no point posting in the other section, it's full of spam and no-one looks there... Downloaded this on Thursday. Have yet to listen.
May 3, 200817 yr just lisetend, its ok, but not amazing, some stand out tracks. nowhere near as good as 'Hold Your Colour'
May 3, 200817 yr Not fussed with this, love Hold Your Colour but from what I've read so far they've just gone all commercial with loads of vocals which I have to say aren't the strongest, if the two singles are anything like being representitive I shall be avoiding it. I do love 'Propane Nightmares' though but I couldn't take an album of it, no chance.
May 4, 200817 yr Author The album is really good, it's let down by the fact that every song is 5+ mins long, but it's still good. My faves are 'Propane Nightmares', 'The Other Side' + 'The Tempest'. :D
May 4, 200817 yr Author whats wrong with having long songs? Well a lot of the songs are very similar I think, so I can see why some people would find it a little boring maybe?
May 18, 200817 yr 'Hold Your Colour' was an awsome album. I havn't checked this out yet, although judging by reviews I don't think I should.
