May 4, 200817 yr im going to go and see it soon! :D quite excited being the sad comic book reader i am.
May 5, 200817 yr Have heard what they're trying to do?? Well after the credits of this film there is an important sequence which you must see! :o (NOT GIVING IT AWAY!) Well... They're supposed to be merging all the superheroes from the marvel comics together!! - So We will have to wait until Incredible Hulk to see if anything happens with that! :o :D :w00t: - IMAGINE THAT!!!!
May 5, 200817 yr Oh and also its the 2nd Highest grossing weekend opening in America Ever (NON Sequel)! Apparently!
May 5, 200817 yr that bit after the credits sounds amazing! :w00t: i also heard theres meant to be a Nick Fury cameo in it, im not sure if its true but it should be awesome if its true. cant wait to see it now
May 5, 200817 yr Well, this is certainly an improvement on rubbish like "Daredevil", "Ghost Rider", "Transformers", etc... Much better than "Fantatsic Four" as well... As comic book adaptions go, I'd put this up with the first two "X-Men" films, "Spiderman" and "Blade"..... A well-written script and a fantastic bit of casting (Robert Downey Jr) really elevates this film way above the average Summer fare... Good stuff.... And now we have Indiana Jones and Doomsday to look forward to this month as well... It's looking good....

May 5, 200817 yr i heard Doomsday is a bit c**p :( Hmmm, strange.. Starburst's Alan Jones really rates it, and his tastes in pulpy Horror/Sci Fi stuff are broadly similar to mine....

May 5, 200817 yr Marvel today updated its feature film slate strategy and plans for the next three years, locking in key release windows for its character franchises. In order to focus its attention on maximizing the success of an Iron Man sequel and the launch of Thor in the summer of 2010 and because Marvel believes that the summer is the optimal time to launch a new property, the Company will not release a self produced film in 2009. Marvel plans to launch its 2010 film slate with the release of the sequel, Iron Man 2, on April 30, 2010, followed by the launch of Thor on June 4, 2010. Additionally, Marvel is planting its feature film stakes for summer 2011 with an Avengers-themed summer – a two-picture project which will debut on May 6, 2011 with The First Avenger: Captain America (working title), followed by The Avengers in July 2011. :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/080505/20080505005656.html?.v=1
