The words over my dead and body spring to mind.

There's f*** all wrong with the format that it's in now.

Apart from the fact that it's quite messy and not particularly neat when it comes to conveying semi-final results and final points...
OH, I meant the results as I've formatted them on the first page for one// and twentyfour// are the template, not necessarily the contest name formatting :P
not a fan of the new format at all...why are the name's of all of the contests being changed retrospectively, nobody's going to refer to BJSCX as bjsc_ten// :lol:
It's a damn sight better than the one your currently championing.

It looks hideous.

I agree, indie lettering looks pretty in normal discussion, but not bolded and underlined really...can we have the roman numerals back for the contests that used them please! :P

I'm referring to the layout of the RESULTS, not the names themselves. Under my layout the points and the semi final results are actually easy to follow rather than in a jagged line depending on how long the name is...how can:

01 :: 104 :: Mdiče - Britney Spears - And Then We Kiss

02 :: 094 :: Faztickle - Nelly Furtado - Maneater

03 :: 093 :: Kopečka - Jordin Sparks - Tattoo

look all that hideous? :lol:

I'm willing to change the names of the contests if you wish?

The new thread will have Roman numerals for all contests, [not this xxv b/s but XXV]

And there will not be a colon in sight never mind the '::' craze which makes me want to vomit

I'm loving the new format tbh :o :wub:

We've always had colons though? :lol: As in 01:

I think it makes it look quite neat actually, having :: as a separator...

please :P I'm not overly bothered on how you format it otherwise, it's easy enough to read either way, I can't say I had a problem with how it was before though...

I hate the :: thing, always have it's vile.

And, the Semi results being at the arse end is because 1] not all the old contests have them and 2] for the final it isn't that important.

Neither really are the points scored, hence why i put them at the end. I am however willing to meet you halfway and i propose this:

BJSC XXXIV - Ashton - Morpeth Cove

01 || 189 || Country X - Artist K - Song Y || SF1 || 5th - 98

02 || 165 || Country D - Artist HYA - Song BHU || SF2 || 2nd - 120

03 || 163 || Ashton - Artist J - Song UUW || AQ

etc.

Can't say i've been overly pleased with having : as a separator.

It doesn't particularly matter that the older contests don't have the semi results - I've always found when collating results for various things that having the semi results at the end has been a right pain. Is it possible we could find some sort of compromise between :: and ||? I've never particularly liked ||...

LOL at our sadness :lol:

<> is bleh :( Even >> is superior and THAT'S SAYING SOMETHING. >< is nice-ish I SUPPOSE, but still. We must find an adequate one. // cannot be overused.
I do rather like how Tyron has reformatted these actually. Roman numerals and double colons aren't really something to get hung up on, are they?
|| looks ugly tbh

It's more than ugly. :( Looks messy when it's used in charts/everywhere tbh. ll looks better AND THAT SAYS SOMETHING.
