I think PCD are the big girl group of the 00s in the USA, The Saturdays aren't really what goes down well in the USA these days anyway.

The jonas brother,miley cyrus,high school music cast are all big in america, maybe the saturday can fit into those category's too??

Pop seems to be making a comeback in the usa with katy perry spending ages at the top and leona topping the charts too.

If The Saturdays can't make it in their home country, the label won't bother sending them to the USA (possibly the hardest market for music).

British girl groups don't have a high success rate in America.

I think all 21st century british girlband would flop in the US. Mind you anything can happen, look what happened to M.I.A who was as British friendly as you can get but she flopped here but was a huge success in the US

Oh yeah i agree. But i think if any Current british girlband had any chance whatsiever it would probably be the Sugababes, some of their songs could have done well. Girls Aloud and The Saturdays come to that dont suit the US Market.

It is slightly early and i was execting them to stay there for at least anther week or so.
