Yes both versions. Whats bad luck about a no.7 single in todays indie/RnB climate?! Dear me.

I think Mushy was wishing them bad luck? Either way, ignore it.

I didnt even realised Nickolodeon had studio presenters, i thought they ditched them ages ago..... Anyway, more promotion is good, as Nickolodeon is the most watched of the kids channels on sky, so it will have got a decent amount of viewers.

There's no f***ing indie in the charts at all, it's never done THAT well in the singles chart anyway and this year there's been far less.

 

I count one indie songs in last weeks top 40 (Noah & The Whale). You could probably consider Coldplay and The Kocks as being from that genre, too. And there are three pathetic attempts at 'rock' songs'.

 

 

Compare that to a good 15 POP songs which were in it!

My thoughts exactly... What the hell is "indie" about the likes of The Kooks, Kaiser Chiefs, Pigeon Detectives, etc, etc.... I dont consider really ANY of that lot to be "indie" at all.... It's Britpop Version 2.0 at best, or Guitar Pop..... :P :lol:

 

As for Coldplay... Stadium Rock innit....?

The girls have shot the video for Up. Una has said this about it:

 

"Hello! I am so tired today after yesterdays video shoot, it was a very long day but boy was it worth it! I am so excited to see the edit because we did it all with green screen so it will look amazing i'm sure! My feet were killing me in size 4 heels all day (i'm a 5 but 4 fit better in heels, but hurt after 16 hours!) There is plenty of dance routine and special effects in this one! And the track was at half speed so we had to do it all to that pace so it was tricky! and we were up on podiums! and jumping from one to the other (I am not saying anymore don't want to ruin it for you)".

So you're saying the likes of Duffy, Basshunter, Neyo and Rihanna are all anything like The Saturdays. You know that clearly there is no 'pure' pop in the chart and hasnt been for while, im talking about pop like Atomic Kitten and to a certain extent Girls Aloud.

Just because they don't sound alike doesn't mean they're from different genre forums. Radiohead, The Pigeon Detectives and Coldplay all sound nothing alike yet are all discussed in the same genre forum. Girls Aloud, The Feeling and Geri Haliwell sound nothing alike but are all from the same genre...

That wasn't the issue I picked up on. I picked up on it beng indie dominated, when it's far behind pop, dance, rock, rnb, chav and MoR as far as chart performance goes.
