Looks like all those trips to the recording studio as of late aren't "just for fun," as her re-hired manager Larry Rudolph has publicly stated. According to The Sun, Britney is determined to release a studio album late this year, and has been amazing in the studio: "impressive demos from recent studio work reignited their faith and they are confident she can crush aging Whitney in a titanic Christmas LP scrap."

A label source said: "Britney has been on fire in the studio of late. During recording sessions for the last album she was consumed by her chaotic private life. But she is determined to make a triumphant comeback. Top brass have been amazed by the quality of tracks they've heard."

:yahoo: Am i the only one that would love a new album This year? But if its only 8 tracks they should do what Amy Winehouse did and just do a Deluxe Edition of Blackout or something!

I think it would be amazing for an album at the end of the year.

Christmas sales.

The big battle with Whitney would help sales greatly too. As it did for Kanye and 50.

AAAAAnnnnnnnnd hopefully she will make a proper comeback this time :D

Britney needs to go on a break and wait for the end of next year, at the earliest.
Well before blackout came out.. i said she shouldn't release an album for another year... but none of the fans agreed, look what happened, no promo, not fit to do any kinda of album work and too much stress... so hopefully this time the fans might actually think about britney and give her a bit of time to herself to rest and get better!
My point exactly Jack. She needs to focus on her family and her issues at the moment until she has totally mastered them. There is nothing wrong with starting work on the next album or doing small things like tv appearances...but to kick off a whole new album would just add too much stress to her plate IMO.

hmm..

It would be awesome if she making an even better album then blackout so then she can return to the stage!

Did you make that sig Tyler? It's got Delta lyrics in it!

Hmm.. I would LOVE for a new album to come out, anybody would! But I think it's just too early for her to do one :( If anything she should add a few more tracks to a 'Blackout Deluxe Edition' or something. If she is doing well in the studio, then by all means add a couple more songs to a deluxe re-release. But don't start a new album, it's too much for her :(

I hate when fans say she needs to do this she needs to do that <_<

like they now her personally

at the end "Blackout" trurned out to be her best album to date, selling pretty well with 0 promotion ^_^

I also think it's pretty obvious that 'Blackout' also lead to her being more stressed out. Yes, we got some great music out of it but we also watched her embarass herself on the VMA's, be pushed to do all of these promotional stunts that ended up burning her in the end (OK! Magazine, Allure, ditching the radio interview with Ryan Seacrest). And when you are in a bad mental state stress makes things worse and that's a fact. So what is more important to you Boyan, Britney getting back joint custody of her kids, and to become fully healed so she can learn to take care of herself once the conservationship is over (yep if it wasn't for her family stepping in we would be reading about her still spiraling out of control). Or would you rather her make another album to pelase her fans and Jive records, just to put her troubled personal life on the back burner once again?

And yes the words are from Delta's song, it really fit the feeling I wanted for the banner...

It's not about wanting this or that, I assume Boyan wants Britney to be fit and healthy before having a new album from her. Nevertheless, I completely understand his point of view, what I think he's saying is: how do you know she's not in a mental state to record, release and promote a new album if you don't know her personally? Or more importantly, how do you know that focusing on her music career won't be therapeutical for her?

We have to understand that we aren't close to Britney to know what's better and what's not for her, and while a new album could become a new complete disaster in her life, it could also become her very triumphant return, but we just don't know that for certain.

Yes it could be therapeutic, but the fact that she was just released from a psychiatric unit less then three months ago tells me that she needs to spend time with her family and kids without having to worry about the public eye...which becomes more magnified when you have the pressure of bringing on the biggest comeback ever. Because you better believe that people are wanting and expecting it. So recording and writing is cool, but I know from my own experience of having a family member that has bi-polar disorder that it takes a while for a person to reach normalcy once they start treatng the disorder.

I don't think you guys understand that this has nothing to do with personally knowing Britney Spears, it's the fact that she has a serious mental disorder that was only diagnosed three months ago. She just reunited with the majority of her family after more then 6 months, last week! Do you really think she is ready for a promotion/publicity circus while she is going through, and learning the steps of treatment, and dealing with a highly puiblicized custody case? Because she isn't, and there is nothing personal about that at all.

I agree with different points people have about releasing a new album or just re-releasing Blackout. My opinion on the matter is that if she's ready to release an entirely new album and start over then she should go for it. I hope that her state would be much more improved by then and all the people that work with her should be ready to help her and stand by her side 100%. I think it could make her image and everything improve for her if she's ready to work hard for it and show people how great she isat her career.

If a re-release is all she wants to do then I think that's great too. We will get more music and she won't have to work herself for promoting it. Either way, I think an album or a re-release will be a pretty nice gift for fans.

At January-March, there were rumours about a deluxe edition being released October 27, but I think that's all been scrapped.
