Rachel opens tour with lacklustre performance in Zagorasta

Once the subject of excitement and optimism on the behalf of the Kopeček people, confident of their chances of scoring their first victory at the upcoming 6th BuzzJack Song Contest in Siobah, Quotosibb; Rachel's audience left distinctly disappointed and apprehensive last night after a painfully off-key performance, which was branded by leading musical pundit Perečki Heltana as "Just $h!t", and led to her odds of winning the upcoming contest drifting from 4/1 to 12/1 at leading Kopeček bookmakers Čeknet!. Rachel has refused to comment on her performance, although her manager was quoted as promising refunds to all those who attended the concert. Industry rumblings have even gone as far as suggesting that the Kopeček internal selection committee are even considering sending 2nd placed Gwen Stefani instead of Rachel should this performance not turn out to be a one-off. Currently, all eyes are focused on Bhang, where Rachel will be performing later today: the Kopeček people can only hope for their sake that she can deliver the goods.

DAILY BHANG

Today marks the first day of Dima Bilan's international tour, with the singer visiting Kopecka this morning, and arriving in Eledan this evening to appear on a primetime television programme in the country. Hopes are high for Dima, with many leading bookmakers placing him amongst their favourites to win the contest.

Dima impresses amidst flurry of romantic rumours with Rachel

The formerly disgruntled audience of Rachel's performance was transformed into a cheering crowd after Dima Bilan, the Bhangrese representative, delivered an electrifying performance of his contest song Lady Flame today; although the main focus of the media was placed upon the rumours that Russian heart-throb Dima is currently in a romantic relationship with Kopeček representative Rachel Stevens. Dima's long-time masseuse and manager, David Hobbs, refuted such rumours upon questioning, being quoted as saying, "Don't be stupid! Everybody knows Dima's gay...". However, sources were quoted as saying that the two were witnessed backstage "in a steamy embrace for several minutes...before Dima took Rachel to the tour coach and closed the curtains". With the two due to visit Eledan in the coming days, the Kopeček press are certainly hoping to see more of them, if not for entirely musical reasons...

Masseuse LOL.

In an interview with fan-site BJSC Today, Dima refused to comment on the alleged shennanigans, but did drop hints that he was "looking forward to seeing Rachel" at the contest in Quotosibb. :o

Well, the Kopeček media found it rather odd that Dima was making a quick backtrack to Bhangra...especially as Rachel's performing there this afternoon :kink:

LATEST FROM BJIKOTIMES

Dima - "It's true"

In an exclusive interview with BJikotimes, Dima Bilan, representative of Bhangra in this month's BJSC, confirmed recent suspicions that there may have been some intimacy in their recent relationship. "It is my no means some sort of 'publicity stunt'," Bilan was quoted as saying. "Rachel's a very nice girl and we get along very well." Rumours arose after Bilan's recent performance in Kopecka, whom Rachel Stevens is representing this month.
