I mean like when the confirmation is closed and we have all our entrants, maybe having a thread for the "live draw" similar to the draw they have in March for Eurovision, so we can see what semi-final the countries get drawn into, and the performance order "as it happens" so to speak.

 

I dunno if that makes more sense....

Oh, well I was planning to use that website that puts things into a random order. I still can but I suppose I can make it appear that I am picking songs out of a hat if enough people would be interested in that thread. I'm just thinking, not that many people may be online at the time.

 

The 'order of performance' for the semi finals will just be in the order that I pick them. e.g. the first one I pick to be in semi final 1 will be first.

 

and yes, my exams are over. I had a disastrous Food Tech exam today but I don't care too much, I think I had an E, or maybe a D, overall before the exam which is fine. It's not great, but it's fine.

 

By the way, does anyone think I should PM Mart!n? He chose his entry and it was in the Temporary Confirmation Thread, but he hasn't confirmed so far. The other countries I would PM are FSR Farahtyn and Dulpaen, but one seems to be in the process of choosing still and the other is my brother so I can remind him myself.

 

Are there any other countries that expressed interest this time but haven't signed up? I can't think of any but someone else might.

As for me, i wrote the list of countries, giving them the number and then I wrote the program (on Pascal :teresa: ) and did create the order of countries by the sequence of written numbers on the screen by the program :lol: I know it was a weird way :lol:

Well, you could use the website, with the first half of the list in the first semi (with the order being the order it gives) and the same for the second semi, just do it as if you're drawing it - draw two songs at once though, e.g. the first for the first and second semis, then the second etc.

After last minute crisis meetings at HbTV, Herzebanian heads of delegation, along with Jeanette, have made a last minute change of strategy!

 

"Right Now" triumphed in the one artist national final after being a narrow victor in the voting, made up of regional juries and televoting. However, after it emerged that the clear public favourite in terms of votes was in fact 2nd placed song "Hold The Line," officials have had a rethink.

 

"We've been paying attention to the opinions of various countries, checked out the competition, and discussed it with professionals both here and internationally, and decided that it is in the country's best interests to send an alternative song," a statement from the Herzebanian head of delegation said.

 

"The public's clear favourite in the national final was in fact song number one, 'Hold The Line' which unfortunately lost out narrowly because of the points system we have in use. We have discussed the matter with the various juries that were used, and Jeanette herself, and all parties are happy with the swap of songs."

 

"It is especially important for the country to do well in the competition, especially with the new qualification system making it more difficult, so we hope that our decision will pay off."

 

This comes 24 hours before the deadline for confirmation of entries and the decision regarding which semi-final Jeanette will find herself in.

After an simply electrifying performance in Juranaland's capital St. Juranamo last night. Maroon 5 and Rihanna have arrived in Torchwood for the first out of country gig in preparation for the BuzzJack Song Contest. The performance is due to start in 15 minutes and will feature the support act McBusted. McBusted have told Juranexpress "we feel priveleged to even have been offered the opportunity to support Maroon 5 and Brihanna or whatever her name is as Maroon 5 are are favourite band in the world ever. We have chosen to perform 3 songs these are: Hello, Just To Let You Know and a new song that noone has ever heard called Brihanna Sucks" All the dates of Maroon 5 and Rihanna's BuzzJack World Tour have been sold out now. After the contest, Maroon 5 will be performing with Rihanna in Juranabaijan which is on the BuzzJack Moon. They will be using Juranaspacelines to get there!!! Maroon5 are still at the top of the jTunes chart and almost every citizen of Juranaland has downloaded it meaning it will have the largest weekly sales in the Juranaland Singles Chart ever!!!
