A lot of good artists there, will have to get in quick if your to reserve some of them first though esp. Gabriella Cilmi who myself and Ashton have both shown interest in :dance:

Thats why ive picked 5 artists :lol: but im gonna Reserve as soon as i can... :P

I don't think it's fair for people to 'reserve' now far too early and the chances are people will change there minds over the next month.

 

Also, weren't there gonna be some sort of rules introdcued to limit the number of artists reserved and the length of time they could be reserved for?

Oh yeah they were. Discussions are yet to take place regarding that matter I believe.

Trouble is five times 40 is 200 possible artists being reserved - A little excessive me thinks and unfair for those who don't get in early enough

I personally don't think anyone should be allowed to reserve more than one artist. Daft idea having loads of people in "national finals" and all that. Fair enough if you want to do a NF, but I don't think you should be able to reserve all of the artists.

I don't want to sound like a baby throwing his toys out the pram. But please - we don't even know who's going to win yet, how can we have a confirmation thread for the next contest? If you meant a Temporary Confirmation thread that might be slightly better.

 

I find it funny how people are already announcing their next artist before this contest is even over. You'll have plenty of time between the end of this contest and the next one to pick an entry. I think people are being a bit hasty that's all.

As for reserving artists, I think it is reasonable to let people "reserve" one artist and one artist only for a certain amount of time. I say let whoever wants to have national finals have them, with however many artists they want, but unless they have been reserved or definitely chosen for the final entry, people are free to use them for their own as well.

As long as i can use all 5 in my nationals im not bothered :P I dont know which one i want for teh finals yet but i just want them for the nationals! I think it should be better if we are holding NF's we reserve the SONG and NOT the artist or something :unsure:
