Oh Simon. :( I hope Ashton doesn't pick Kat now because that song is so bad, I used to like it because I had it on a compilation CD that I liked, but it's one of those songs you regret liking back in the day. :(

Ashton gives Simmondly an Olive Branch

 

Ashton today offered Simmondly an olive branch when it announced that Red Blooded Women would be representing the country, in exchange for Simmondly agreeing not to use the song "Run The Show" in BJSC7.

 

This controversial move comes just hours after 3 Simmondly nationals were arrested on charges of terrorism in the second city of Holtcka on the southern most island where the native tongue is Ashtonese, the three men bought liquid explosives from government officials and were then caught boarding 3 separate planes to the capital Morepeth Cove. Their plot was to detonated over the out skirts of the city and over the Yenthizan Channel between the two islands.

 

If found guilty this week the men face the death penalty.

The King of Shadow has offered the 'Holtcka Three' political asylum after the Ashtonese athorities threatened the accused terrorists with the death penalty. The monarch has said "I am strongly opposed to any form physical punishment no matter what the crime and so see fit to offer accused an escape from their fatal sentence. The three will be placed in a rehabilitation centre where we hope to train them as dancers for the ongoing competition to choose the BJSC 7 song for the Kingdom of Shadow."

Simon - do NOT under any circumstances send that song 'Tell Me Ma', it is probably one of the worst songs of all time, and you WILL finish in the bottom three in BJSC7 if you send it :P

According to Wikipedia both Little Trees and Creamy recorded a version of the song and both were Danish teenage girl groups. I have a feeling the version that is being used here is Little Trees because the video has parts of the movie it was used in being shown and Little Trees recorded that one. It's an easy mistake to make by the looks of it. :lol:

Quotosibb reveal first two songs

Today Quotosibb have announced the first two of eight songs that will appear in their national final. The first song from Group A is "I Am Not My Hair" by India.Arie, the second from Group B is "Still In Love With My Ex" by Kelly Rowland. However, public opinions are wanted to decide which version of "I Am Not My Hair" will be sent, a version featuring P!nk or the original version with only India.Arie singing.

The groups have been revealed to be in this formation:

Two songs are expected to be announced each day from today, but Maria Lawson is also having troubles selecting her two songs. The top two songs from each group, voted by other countries, will be put into a final four and the winner will be decided by the Quotosibb public. This format is different to last time when Beverley Knight was chosen by internal selection. Quotosibb is hoping the public will help them follow up the success they had in the previous contest.
