Triangle E most likely :D

It was, he informs them on what mistakes they've made and helps them with bios for dance acts :D

Haven't bought this for ages but may get the new one.The last I got was The Complete Book Of The British Charts and it seemed to have very few errors.

well in that case might get that book instead and wait for the album version when it comes out later in the year.

why bother, most dance acts are so random, hell even they dont know who they are  :P

Mentioned these ones last year, but they don't seem to have corrected them:

p141: Dashboard Confessional – Hands Down entered 22/11/03

p145: Dee Dee are listed as a production trio, but they only have 2 producers

p214: Credit tags for Freefall featuring Jan Johnston not needed

p226/p391: The Girl From Ipanema (re-issue) is listed under Stan Getz’s entry, but The Sunshine After The Rain (re-issue) is not listed under New Atlantic’s entry, even though the credits had the same pattern

p228: Girls Of FHM are a faceless dance act – not a group of models/vocalists

p371: Mr Jack = Junior Jack = Vito Lucente (from Italy)

p386: NRG’s 3rd hit should be Never Lost His Hardcore (2nd re-mix)

p407: Note re re-entries of Happy Xmas (War Is Over) missing from Yoko Ono’s section

p469: Room 5 featuring Oliver Cheatham footnotes not needed

p489: Serafin – Things Fall Apart entered 17/5/03

p500: Simple Kid is Irish vocalist/instrumentalist Ciaran McFeely

p560: Time Frequency’s last hit should be Real Love (2nd re-mix)

I know Westlife don't deserve to be top 8, but I still think you've put PCD a bit too high (or got their figure wrong).

PCD should read 380.... etc, put the 8 in the wrong place, oops, thanks for the correction, its all sorted now.

p228: Girls Of FHM are a faceless dance act – not a group of models/vocalists

however think thats just a bit too pedantic, for all purposes they were shown as a group of sexy ladies from the pages of fhm plus random popettes

its abit like saying for

Santa - North Pole, male vocalist - Santa Claus

well it should be UK group of producers or something like well North Pole is not an actual country should be Finland/Norway/Sweden etc etc

also they seem to have counted all of fiddy's singles and albums for his singles total
does anyone actually complain to the company?

yeah there was someone who sent in about 250 mistakes and a nasty letter last year

I got the book, looks nice. But inside...

Page 605:

Robbie Williams - Sexed Up > 10 weeks on the chart?! It was definitely 9!

I am terrified. If they can't properly compile such obvious entry, how about the rest?!

Didn't they have any database system based on the real charts? I start to think they simply put all the entries exactly like they print them later in the book, i.e. simply count all the data "by hand". Shocked! :o

i think they are more bothered messing with the design rather getting the facts correct

Yes, that was in the days of CC, we had a huge thread full of mistakes! Its good to buy still, as the majority of the information is correct!

Yes it's a great read. I will probably be picking up my copy sometime next week.

Thankyou :)

No reference for the singer of A Girl From Ipanema. Astrud Gilberto and Joao Gilberto should have a note next to Bebel Gilberto saying look at Stan Getz. Last night mum was watching Seu Jorge on the South Bank Show and couldnt remember the bloke who did this song with Ms Gilberto. Couldnt find it in the book! even though it was on the very next page!!!

A saint etienne single given as being on Mantra records when it has a Sanctuary record label
