Posted May 13, 200817 yr I really really enjoyed this! It was fun and fast paced! The typical warner brothers stuff Imagine Lazytown but more action packed, fast paced and a bit more colourful! Yes its a PG but i really enjoyed it! What do you guys think of it??

I was a fan of the Wachowskis at one point (the original "Matrix" still remains a modern sci-fi classic, shame the sequels didn't live up to the first film...), but when I saw the trailer for "Speed Racer" I just got immediately turned off... Looked too much like a video game... I dont usually mind deliberately overly-stylized films or films which have an exaggerated style, but there didn't really seem to be a reason for this.... It's based on a cartoon series, right..? Might've worked out better as an animated feature rather than live action.... ...Dunno, might download it some day, just not sure I'd really want to waste almost two and a half hours (FAR too long for a film like this one would've thought, which probably didn't help...) in a Cinema watching it.....
